Re: Player A v Player B

oh also could save cash by going Mumford instead of Ryder on the assumption Mumford is getting in better shape every week after the back issues. Also plays the ruckless cats in the final round.

Re: Player A v Player B

Upgrading another DEF meaning Dempsey becomes bench backup inseat of 7th def

OR

Upgrading Pfieffer or Adams to a 500k FWD meaning one of Zorko/Porplyzia become bench backup
It would not only seem madness to do upgrades to get Zorko sitting on the bench, it would also seem impossible. There aren't 7 FWD's doing better than him! His vest-corrected average of 104 has him holding F6 status right now. As Porps showed on the weekend, he is a great back up on the bench. I'd upgrade elsewhere if it meant Zorko to the bench.
What is your team name, Zim^zuM?

Re: Player A v Player B

With 4 trades left I would hold fire a few weeks. Unless your fighting to get into the 8 of your league (or stay in it) or you are a chance of 50k.

If you did trade and were left with 3 trades. Then I suggest the 3rd option. Except I would upgrade Porps. He doesn't average much and he isn't DPP. Upgrading to a premo DPP like Dangerfield would be best. Then if your injuries hold out in R22 do a downgrade for cash e.g. zorko. And for GF week trade in 2 guns to seal the deal.
I went the backman. $214k and 4 trades left

Now similar question.

What is better to help with a trade lol

having Ryder instead of Giles

Re: Player A v Player B

Posting this for my mate at work to see what everyone thinks. He needs a forward premo and has his heart set on Zorko, gave me some stats and numbers obviously after his bye but i dont know how i feel about investing now $400k into an unproven rookie who's running hot.

He already has Buddy, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Martin, Zaharakis and let's assume he has a standard downgrade, upgrade in mind so any forward up to $550k.

So it's Zorko v SJ/Roo/Goodes/ROK/Pav/Robinson/Cloke + whatever coin left over.

Danny Stanley? Could be a point of difference. I picked him up in SC Gold and I've been pleased.

Re: General Discussions

Is Brian Lake a definate keeper in a Defence that looks like:
Deledio, Goddard, M. Johnson, Enright, Suckling, Carrazzo (trading in this week), Lake (S. Shaw, Spurr)

By the way I will have 3 trades and a bit of coin left when I am looking to do the trade, possibly round 16/17.

In a defence that looks like that, with 3 trades and 9 games left, I'd say yes.

Hurley or sylvia? thougths on hurley?
Not much in it, given they both miss games. Maybe Hurley, just. He just seems more likely to peel off 100+ than Sylvia.

Well Porplyzia would be who I bench not zorko. But even Porplyzia is in good form so I'm thinking ruck. Or maybe it's best to ignore price rise and drops and not trade at all yet since I only have 4. My team is lolern bulldogs

Hey Guys,
Needing two or three upgrades to have a team full of players that I will take to the end. I currently have 6 trades and $65,400 in funds. I am wanting to bring in Carrazzo and Dangerfield and ready to get rid of Giles and McDonald who are dropping off. Dangerfield has a breakeven of 138 whilst Carrazzo only 41. Most likely Dangerfield will drop a little more in price this week and Carrazzo is bound to go up. I am leaning towards bringing in Carrazzo this week and waiting on Dangerfield but also doing a downgrade for extra funds to get to get him the following week.

Trades:
McDonald out for Carrazzo (Swaping Goddard to midfield bench for a couple of weeks and then doing a downgrade to move him back. This will create more funds for one or two more defence or forward upgrades and trades complete.)
Giles out for Cheap forward (By swaping Roughead into ruck. Currently looking for any decent forwards that are cheap but my decision will be made after teams.)

Then can bring in Dangerfield the following week.

Please fell free to comment.

Murdoch from Geelong (106k fwd, 88 last week) is the only 'viable' option that played last week.

With all the carnage at Richmond (Jackson, King, Grimes, Vickery, Connors, Martin all out) they will probably have 1-2 options this week.

Yes he is the one I am looking at although JS is not great will only need to probably play this week and maybe next due to Franklin/Martin.

I was thinking about going Shiel -> Sylvia, since Shiel will miss the next four weeks with an injury. This will open up DPP between mid and forward giving me some flexibility (for bench cover. Other mid bench is S.Gibson). However the only problem is, after I make this trade I will have 2 trades left to run out the year. Do you think I should make this trade and hope I get lucky or no because its too risky?

I guess it depends on how your team looks and if you think you can last the rest of the season with only two trades. Can you use Shiel as an upgrade instead on a direct swap?

It would seem a bit of a "luxury" trade to me. If Croz was playing this week, and you avoided the FWD donut, would you get Sylvia?
If the answer is "no", then you are trading in Sylvia to cover a 40-60 point donut.
With your DEF having: Broughton, Lake, Ellis, S Shaw and Darley, long term you might be better upgrading there. Sylvia will give you flexibility, but will probably spend most weeks on the bench for you. A DEF upgrade will play every week (hopefully)
Good luck :)

I think I'd hold fire on trading, unless it was in your Rucks or FWD's. As you only have 4, I still think it is sit tight this week. It looks like you can avoid your FWD by DPPing Chappy down. Maybe upgrading Adams or Pfeiffer could be your next goal?
good luck :)

Hi guys, what do you think of Ablett vs Thompson? I'm actually leaning towards Thompson, mainly due to the Crows' easy run home...

I think the men in white coats will come visit you if you persist in thinking like that
haha fair call, i reckon i could use a bit of psychiatric counseling after some of the events that have unfolded this year :p

i've actually reversed my trade. Just can't decide between them, I like Thompson, but Ablett is Ablett! So I might hold off for a week and then see how things are next week. I will have a donut this week, but I should be right to win my league games, which is my primary goal.
