Ummm Houston and Brodie Smith are currently my D1 and D2... so would any SA natives care to fight for the survival of one of them in my team?????

please.

Or do you dislike them as much as I do now too....
Houston - $484,800 - Rnd 1 score 79 - B/E 106

Rnd 2 score - 60.

Approx new price $464,600 (-$20,200) - B/E 126

If Noble keeps his spot, IF ...... then Houston might get the chop.
Noble was on the chopping block until Houston/Smith played. Think the latter go now assuming Noble survives as you suggest Rowsus.

BSmith will become Pittonett this week.

If Darcy Cameron holds his spot then Cavarra will likely depart for him.

If not, then Houston will become Howe. Ideally would prefer to go Neale however don't have a DPP to get him there.

I need to bring in Jeremy Howe, I brought in Doedee for Round 2.

I will do a correction for Ceglar/Doedee to bring in Howe

If Naismith (R3) does not play then I will bring in Marc Pittonet

I was happy enough after round 1 however fast forward 3 months and my team looks a rabble.

Def
Laird - generally a solid pick. What’s going on?
BSmith - poor choice. Can’t find the footy as a mid.
Traded in Noble after he looked good in round 1. Fail this week.
Doc & Brander ok without being great.
Lloyd to come.
I will be annoyed if Laird and Lloyd both turn out to be poor picks.

Mid
No Neale, no Fyfe
Captain Cripps managed to double his score in last 10 mins to avert a complete disaster.
Rowell and Pickett most have on field
Bennell looks ok
Macrae, Jelly, Bont and McInerney to come.

Ruck
Grundy (v) ok
No Gawn
Naismith injured so Ceglar swung into Ruck and there are worrying signs there after a good round 1.

Forward
Most have DMartin
TLynch good this week but will have bad games
Whitfield, DSmith, Taylor, King to come.

Held on all the premos this week and traded out the non playing rookies.

I might have to break my own rules this week and forego this weeks cash cows and fix some of my poor starting selections.

Maybe a bit of both. Maybe use BSmith down to rookie to fund Ceglar up to Gawn.

ps Surely, surely, surely West Coast put some attention into Neale. Freo just let him do as he liked.
I reckon there will be heaps of good cash cows on the bubble this week, so you could keep the Ceglar cash for a week and then go shopping, if the second bubble boy is likely to go up materially more than Gawn.

Does anyone know if Houston attended many centre bounces last night?
Haven't seen anything yet. Can say his heat maps shows most possessions around centre square, 1 CC and 2 stoppage clearances. Looking at AFL player ratings points, nearly all points from Q3.

Some will see upside (role, if he improves consistency), other will see SELL.

1% = zero
Contested marks = zero
Free kicks= +2
CP = circa 30%
Turnovers = 4

On the positive 4 score involvements and 4 intercepts.

One more positive, whilst AFL player ratings were well below normal, they were positive vs Laird who achieved a negative rating! Not sure how that can happen.

B Cavarra to D Cameron/S Sturt is just about locked in.

As for the 2nd trade it could vary from R Laird to T Stewart, A Brayshaw to either someone between $0 to $38,400 more expensive than him or down to a player in the 200 range (eg Townsend/Daicos) or trade my last loophole (B Williams, assuming everyone retains their spots) to D Cameron/S Sturt.

Yeah I have Laird who’s only scored 20 pts more than Houston. Trading Laird hadn’t crossed my mind.

I think if you don’t have all of Pittonet, Cameron, Rivers and Bennell, and you also have non-playing rookies, you should prioritize a rookie sideswap over a luxury premo trade.

Early thoughts are -

Out: Birchall, Hanners
In: Pittonet, Howe

Birchall to get the good old in/out treatment and Hanners the unfortunate sacrificial lamb to allow me to get Howe, who looks a must.

Assuming I can afford Howe that is. Otherwise might give Laird the chop instead.

Herbie66, you seem to have the ear of the good folks at Supercoach HQ's, could you please do us all a solid and petition (beg) them for 4 trades this round (ongoing Covid Chaos, yadda, yadda) and please don't take no for an answer (ok maybe accept 3, just to make it a win-win) (y).

see I am allowed 30 trades every round but still can't get my team right ?

I was thinking I wonder if we could/should have 1-2 rounds per season where we can have "wildcard" trades maybe a set number or unlimited that round and go completely crazy

I like the idea of 1 wildcard reverse trade for the year, ie. I traded in Hurn this week and probably wished it was Howe instead.

What happened to SPS?

I think EPL Fantasy allow you to the option of resitting back to your original player once or twice each season (maybe).

Be interesting to see how many jumped on Howe this round and how many go again next round.

Current problems: De Goey, Noble, probably Doedee, BZT?
Not sure whether to prioritise getting rid of De Goey or give him another week and bring in Cameron and Pittonet (unnecessary luxury?). My forward line's looking a bit thin- Dusty, De Goey, D Smith, Lukosius, rookies.
