GWS Giants midfielder Lachie Whitfield will remain in concussion protocol this week, while attacking the ball he received high contact in the first Qtr on Friday night.

Whitfield was assessed at the time & eventually ruled out at Qtr time.

Under the AFL’s new concussion protocol Whitfield needs to be at a cleared status by Monday in order to be available for Round 4, the AFL increased the number of days a player needs to successfully be clear to 5 days ahead of the 2020 AFL season.

Getting destroyed in most of my league matches against either Whitfield-less teams or teams stacked with the popular hawks & dogs.
It's always the way isn't it... Whenever there is an injury like Whitfield's to a popular player... I reckon I'm always facing the one team in my leagues that doesn't have that popular player.

Interesting Collingwood dropped Magden , wonder how that affects Howe ?

Maybe or WHE may need to play back.
Hey mate. Your thoughts on Cameron’s JS? Apologies if this has been discussed but I’ll be AFK for the rest of the day so won’t be able to research myself and will need to make a decision by tonight on whether I bring in Pittonet at R2 or keep running Darcy (sick).

Unlike others I am a big Cox fan , actually like what he brings to our structure BUT apparently their has/is a lot of positivity about Cameron on his tap work and marking ability , needs now to get on the scoreboard.

Looked good in the first half against Richmond but then vanished , maybe a conditioning thing and also the fact we couldn't get the ball out of our D50.

It's his spot to lose , play his role and perform he stays in the side.

Think the key is scoring goals , can't just rely on Mihocek , unless we get rid of Elliott and revert back to the JDG/Stephenson/Treloar/WHE system of 2 seasons ago.

As far as SC I like his DPP , could help if you need to trade a ruck out.

Cheers

Can't work out whether to bring in Rivers as a Def, or a Mid. Various looping and rookie on-ground options to each one.

McInerney or Rivers, on-ground if I pick him as a mid.
Brander, Starcevich or Rivers on-ground if I pick him as a def.
I can also swing Brander forward and have Starcevich or Rivers, in def, and two of Brander, Sturt, King and Budarick forward.

I'm guessing I'm making this harder than it needs to be, as usual. Thanks for listening to my OCD story.

I benched rivers and Mcinerney, fielding branded starcevic and bennell if that helps!
