That player didn't have COVID, it was just someone at his kids school I believe.
The player whose child attended the school where the teacher was tested positive didn't end up playing in the postponed match. As it wasn't a case from within the squad, it wasn't as big an issue.
I still don't understand it.
If there was nothing to worry about why was the game postponed?
If there was something to worry about how did they turn it around in one day?

Player was tested, came back negative. The child hadn't been in contact with anyone from the squad so there was no reason to cancel the match as the player was negative and was not taking part in the match (he is now in isolation for a fortnight as per regulations).

After tonight I think I'm just going to throw in the towel - missing Pittonet is the nail in the coffin for an already weak lineup that just isn't built for this shortened season and crazy CD scoring.

Nothing = No delay
Something = 1 day delay
Concerning = Postpone
Certain = Cancel?
Sorry, no clearer.
Did they postpone it just so they could confirm there was no link? i.e no testing required.
Was anyone tested to remove the link?
If so how did they get the test so quickly?
