I'm not seeing Whitfield as much as I had thought I might. Does everyone who isn't trading him in own him already?
Waiting one more week on Whitfield, only because Aarts is available to me and I want Ridley. He shouldn’t go up more than 20k even with a great game, so I’m happy to take Aarts this week. Got a fair bit of dosh currently with those two ins, so will be happy to upgrade a rookie to Whitfield next week.

This past week has really set my future trade in plans into disarray. I was eyeing off Houli before he pulled out of the hub. Traded out Pickett last week as I assumed he was further off selection, so that will sting if he makes his way into the team this week.

Have been looking at Hurn as a trade in on the cheap, but not even sure whether he’ll maintain a decent scoring average from here on given the start. Would hope his scoring improves against Adelaide or I may have to cross him off my list for this season.

Torn on whether to trade Pittonet down now or Brown/Budarick down

I think holding him a few extra weeks, especially with his English match up, could see his price rise close to 500k and that money could be handy.

However trading him this week would mean I have 405k in the bank instead of 205k, giving me insurance for the next three weeks that I’d still be able to upgrade a rookie or two if I were to have to make injury trades.

Anyone else have the same issue?

He was in my plan to be traded OUT this week, however, with Rowell's cash injection I can afford to hold him for at least another week. For those who needs him at R2, then it's more of a mute point for now.

If it's purely a cash ITB equation for you, then I feel that it doesn't hurt for you to hold fire as his cash is always there for you to access whenever the need arise.

I'm holding Pittonet for the moment. As you said, he looks as though he has some more money to make.

He's currently my R2 so I am expecting that within the next month I will upgrade him to Gawn. Fingers crossed that Pittonet's rise in price is more or at least matches Gawn's rise in price over the same time.

With regards to cash in the bank, it looks as though we should get some nice cash injections as there are rookies ready to cull and we will have some rookies to choose from for downgrades over the next couple of weeks. That extra cash should allow you to make upgrades where required.

I have Pittonet and Nic Nat, and I’ve been torn whether to trade one or the other. For some reason, I’ve been pulled towards offloading Pittonet, which probably seems counterintuitive given he’s up against English.

I do like NN’s potential for points via hit outs if West Coast’s midfield runs rampant. Carlton v Bulldogs could be contested possessions/tackles galore given the way each team plays. Feel as though both team’s midfields will do a Geelong and steal a heap of the points from the ruckmen.

Ditto, doesn't it mostly suck? And I am sure I will make the wrong move.

Which G are you thinking of bringing in? Grundy, Gawn, Goldy?

It really does. I’ve actually made the right calls the past two weeks in regards to which one goes on field, so I’m sure whoever I trade out this week goes larger.

I own Mr Grundy at R1. I’m honestly not sure at this point, would love the next lot of fixtures to come out before I have to make a decision.

Bit of a different situation for those who have him on field, I reckon he's definitely worth a hold for now if you're in that situation with Gawn's price and him having English this week.

I think he's worth a hold in the chance he makes more cash for me before I downgrade him and even though a player might get injured over the next three weeks I'll try to work around it and be creative so I can still upgrade a rookie that week. When I downgrade him I will have more opportunity to combine injury trade weeks with simultaneous upgrades than I would have otherwise in any case. My plan is to trade him in 3 weeks (2 games after he plays English) and use that money to upgrade Tom Green to Lachie Neale (2 weeks after Neale faces De Boer)

I'm looking at trading Whitfield in this week. Likely will trade in two of Whitfield, T Mitchell or Aarts, probably Whitfield and Aarts.
Same here. Pretty fortunate not to start him and be able to pick him up so cheap. He doesn't suit the scoring but I'm certain he can still score much much better than he is now based on the ceiling he's shown in the past.

It's whoever is not named out of Budarick and Brown for Aarts and Rowell to Whitfield, 205k in the bank for me.

I am trading Pit out from R3 as it is essentially a forced trade for me. Assuming Brander/McAsey/BWilliams are out, I will have another donut so need to do Pit to Ridley via BWilliams to avoid a likely donut.

I'm going to take the West Coast train.
Yeo this week, Hurn next week and maybe even Darling after that.
Surely they can't be this bad back in Perth with home crowds.
I'm now hoping West Coast lose by 1 point every week and still get lots of supercoach points. :)

They just showed him on the news questioning why he left a young family behind to be interstate. Doesn't sound like he's in a great space.
Supports your view on loading up on WCE players. Other teams should be more prepared and have seen Dimma talk quite differently to Simpson who can have too much empathy rather than take leadership positions when needed.

Brought in Hurn already, body language has been average, hopefully see him turn it around. Will wait on Yeo vs Gaff at this stage.
