Yes they have had a tough draw, but they will still finish near the bottom if they keep playing like they did in this game, last week's game or against the Cats. Played some awful footy in those matches, not just getting beaten by better sides.
Hawks are so hot and cold, Wingard struggled to get into the game, disposal not great, Mitchell a shadow of previous years, great skills to get it out of the contest by hand, probably affects his scoring, doesn't look damaging, just chip kicks sideways, backwards and forward. Poppi should retire too slow. No ruck dominance, do they have any young lads in the reserves? Definitely time to blood the youngsters. Should be doing this on the Blues. ?

It looks like we have 2 other rucks, Reeves who has been in the system a few years and Brooksby. I think both are a long way from AFL level though.

We should be playing a few more younger players, especially with no VFL this year. I hope they get their chance in coming weeks, especially if it is the compressed schedule they are looking at.

@Goodie's Guns seems to have the inside word on team selections, maybe he can enlighten you further - it's all guess work from my end.

Played: P Dangerfield (VC- Banked), B Starcevich
Yet to play:
Friday: B Grundy, T Mitchell and J Sicily
Saturday: T Doedee, R Laird, E Yeo, H Bennell, J Simpkin, C Taylor, M King, L Ryan, C Petracca and D Smith
Sunday: C Rozee, L Whitfield, M Pickett, J Macrae, P Cripps, M Pittonet and S Docherty

Sneaky VC on Danger due to wanting to C Grundy this round. Pleasantly surprised by the performance and is now starting to compensate for the poor decision to start him/Mitchell/Macrae/etc over Neale.

As long as Sicily exceeds his total scored on debut last week then I should be in a good position to post my highest score this season considering the scoring potential of the remainder of my side.

Very happy with the performance of Sicily compensating for his debut last round. New recruit Yeo in action tomorrow as well as the return of Bennell, which will make for a very interesting day with 10 involved.
