Have to disagree ?

Fantastic side to watch when we all decide to harass , pressure , tackle and work for each other.
It's definitely a horrible style to watch as a nuetral supporter.

But it's a premiership winning style, will be hard to stop. Now if only the pies could sort out the fast start to fading out the last 3qs they're a real shot at the mickey mouse flag this year!

Just some thoughts regarding Jack Steven's score. He got 67, but it should have been 81 based solely on two umpiring decisions in the first quarter.

Firstly, he was pinged for run too far, a free kick you rarely see paid (-4 points). As he was pinged, he hit a teammate on the chest around 30 out from goal. At least 4 points for the effective kick and another 3 points for a score assist (surely).

He was pinged a couple of minutes later for a deliberate out of bounds. I assume that is counted as a free against resulting in another -4 points.

If you do the maths, that is a 14 point loss based on two decisions that could very easily have gone the other way.

So, why did I go to the effort to point these small moments out? Well, an 81 looks a helluva lot better than a 67. If you are keeping a close eye on him, like me (great value at 300k), you might find it useful to know that his score likely SHOULD have been a lot more respectable.

I thought his numbers were ok (and I had been prepared to take him last week), but he didn't pass the "eye test" for me. Looked very ordinary.

Played: B Grundy (C), P Dangerfield, S Simpson and J Noble.

Yet to play:
Friday: J Macrae and D Smith
Saturday: L Whitfield, I Rankine, J Simpkin, M Pickett
Sunday: C Rozee, M Pittonet, S Docherty, P Cripps, J Sicily, T Mitchell, C Petracca, L Ryan and E Yeo
Monday: R Laird, T Doedee, M King

Very happy with my Sturt to Simpson trade (largely thanks to his performance in the 2nd half) and the return of Noble. Will bank both scores and means I can avoid playing Starcevich but now have to decide which 2 of M King, C Taylor, M Pickett, H Bennell and C Serong to field.
