No brainer: Pittonet -> Rankine, should've done it last week and saved 100k (guess Houston who I brought still went up 30k so that o***ets it a bit)

With the other I'm thinking Rowell -> Treloar. If he keeps racking up 30+ touches he will score wonderfully in the shortened games and at 3.3% ownership he is a massive POD that could well be beyond people's reach.

Feels odd to bring him in cause I started him r1 and used him for funds to upgrade my team but it’s tempting though
Interesting one that isn't it? I think you have to sort of forget R1 - I started Bont and swapped him to Gawn for R2 (thank goodness) but he's always on the radar to bring back in if the price is right.

What's everyone's thoughts on these trades?:
Fyfe/B.KIng > Menegola/Patracca
OR
Fyfe/B.King > Menegola/Rankine???

Going Pittonet to Gawn and Curtis Taylor to Greenwood.
Gawn overpriced but he's killing me every week.
I thought about Tom Brown to Jack Steele instead of Greenwood and English instead of Gawn but went with Gawn for captaincy scores and Greenwood to bolster forward line.

Ok, is it crazy spending 370+k to get Gawn? He’s locked in my trade plans, I’m bleeding points.
It’s easier for me to say as an owner, but I’m surprised more are not looking at alternatives.

By my count he is priced at 150+, which I believe no player has ever sustained over a full season. I know it’s not a full season you need him for, but that’s a compelling stat in my view.

Personally I’d be inclined to look for better value elsewhere - at Goldy types - and assess if I could make good use of the loose change. If I could, I’d strongly consider that path.

If you can’t, I can understand taking Gawn despite his price, especially if Pitto at R2 with a high BE is “forcing” you to act this week.

WCE fans, a little left-of-centre, but what's Nelson's role atm? Two tons in a row, one with only 16 touches, the latest with a lot more... How sustainable?
My personal view is he's not afl standard, fumbles the ball and isn't a good user. Would be one of the first on the chopping block for when shuey returns even tho it's not like for like. He seems to be running across HB atm tho in a good SC role and in this strange season who knows what his JS is like.

At this stage I'm looking at;

OUT: Long, T Brown
IN: Bailey Smith, S Simpson

Don't really like bringing in a rookie after a price rise but he looks to be a great option who will make some quick cash. JS looks a lot better too with another two injuries for the Cats in Selwood and Clark on the weekend.

Gone from 4k to 20k in rankings over past three weeks... blaming no Gawn (clearly an array of other issues too).

I won't be going Pitt > Gawn this week, as I simply won't be making up any ground on all those I have lost ground on over that 3 week period. Rather continue going backwards attempting to make up ground, than overpay to stop bleeding.

Trade 1:
Townsend to Smith
Trade 2:
Budarick to anyone... just can't decide who that premium should be:

Forward: Greenwood and Petracca seem to be a similar conundrum to Gawn above (albeit priced at a reasonable level). However stand out best two options - already have Walters, Whitfield.

Mid: Treloar maybe, JKelly to refind some form, Danger.... already have Neale, Macrae, Mitchell, Cripps and Tkelly.

If i can't decide I will end up going back to the one certainty.. Pitt to Gawn! haha

Jack Steele is still value.

I was planning Cripps to Treloar next round, the Carlton team dynamic seems to have changed a lot this year with Cripps being less of an atlas.

Do we know any more about when Fyfe will be back?

I guess now that I have held him this long I should just keep him
