To me it's pretty simple. You go for the ball or the man with the ball. Anything else is a free kick. The reason Gaff whacked Brayshaw is because Brayshaw was blocking him 100m from the ball. Run with player OK. Human blanket NO.

In the space of a half of football Cripps has gone from being a possible lock in for a sneaky VC score to me thinking he has no place in my team going forward.

Been absolutely ****house in this second half apart from giving away frees.

For the good player Jack Martin is I don't he is what you would call a real team player. A bit selfish at times.

From a supercoach perspective, absolutely horrific game.

Props to Curnow. Hate taggers as much as the next bloke but he was very effective. Big learning day for Simpkin cause he was given a bath. He gave up, stopped working, got frustrated, gave away stupid frees.

I just can't see how the umpires can continually miss the constant holds from the defensive stoppers on the attacking player (player playing the ball) at the stoppages and even just in open play around the ground. But the moment the player playing the ball remotely tugs a jumper in the slightest they are pinged. Umpire the game properly and either pull up everything, or just let everyone play. That was a horrific game to watch this arvo (and I'm not someone who usually complains at all about the look/feel of the game), which was compounded by the horrendous umpiring.
