Strategy Round 9: Trades

I'm looking at:

McAsey > Ling
Budarick > Close
Brander or Starcevich > Lloyd (will trade Brander if he doesn't play)

Hopefully Fyfe is back for me. I had thought a combo of Pickett, Simpson and Bennell would be okay in the mids, but it seems not!

Pickett and Bennell should be ok if they can be looped.

Going forward if both can be kept then playing both in the 22 in Round 10 (best 18) should be fine or hopefully Pickett can be traded out on or before his bye round.

Just fiddling with my trades, one word of warning to everyone with Rivers is that you will need to decide where you want Rivers to be (i.e. midfield or defence) by Thursday night as that's when he locks out!

What did this Ling kid look like? A defence rookie would be incredibly handy but he averaged 39 dt in the NEAFL last year which isn't great....

Trade plans hinge on what's happening to those 2.

Edit: just read Doedee may only miss 1 game, or be managed through the next couple of rounds.

Not great. So I guess not much has changed. I think Tobe Watson in Def is better but for his bye. I'm probably going to triple down and he isn't in my top 3.

How did Ladhams go in terms of game impact, out of interest? The score is great
Like him as a player, good athleticism and skills for his size. Thought about him, too, but was really worried after they said Lycett could be back as early as in 1-2 and went with Ivan Soldo in the end.
