Hey Herbie I’m up against you in the Showdown league. Our match up proves that you live and die by your captaincy decisions! Pretty even otherwise.
I thought you must have made Laird captain or something 😀 but nope Lachie Neale.

Yes given Grundy's form and no Macrae/Neale/Oliver/Petracca I am definitely struggling with VC/C choices.

Certainly didn't expect Petracca to reach this level this season.

Just will keep struggling on and make some random VC choices.

For some reason since Laird moved into the mids , he reminds of Scott Burns , no idea why though.

Think your inaccuracy helped us stay in the game last night , that was a struggling win by a very over rated football team.

Andrew Brayshaw

Round 1 to 4 - 4 games @ 78.5
Since then - 6 games @ 126.66
Got me intrigued now

5. Brayshaw 144 , Fyfe DNP , Walters 92
6. Brayshaw 122 , Fyfe 84 , Walters 107
7. Brayshaw 102 , Fyfe DNP , Walters 101
8. Brayshaw 136 , Fyfe DNP , Walters 115
9. Brayshaw 106 , Fyfe 112 , Walters DNP
10. BYE
11. Brayshaw 150 , Fyfe 130 , Walters DNP

Cerra
134 , 54 , 79 , 113 , 72 , BYE , 134

Mundy
121 , 53 , 38 , 104 , 110 , BYE , 104

Serong
53 , 71 , 42 , 118 , 114 , BYE , 82

Probably would need to look at CBA , CBA % , TOG etc etc to see if a pattern can be worked out.

Tucker got injured early in the game in Round 8 (does that account for Mundy's increase ?)

Seems odd that putting a player with the 2nd most intercepts in the comp forward may not be a bad idea (bad for SC, yes). The Hawks mids do seem to hesitate to kick it forward at times, I think as they know there's a good chance they'll turn it over due to a lack of forward targets.

I was serious with my post in the trade topic that I'm strongly considering ditching both Hawthorn players, Sicily being one. Not sure he spends all his time in defence the rest of the season. Just need to decide if I have much bigger issues to fix (most likely).

Good call out. When is Patton back? Once he returns that will surely cement Sic Dog back again I would think.

Think he might be playing this week against the Eagles, based on the injury list. You're right, they may try relying on him as their main forward target, but wouldn't guarantee that secures Sicily down back.

Missing some presence in the forward line, maybe Patto, comes in, in a couple of rounds?
