An option could be:
Out: D Sams, A Hales, M Short, J Inglis, and O Davies
In: N Coulter-Nile, A Finch, U Khawaja, P Handscomb and D Christian
Oh, I've seen what you've done there... You replaced some of my current inclusions and tried to include the players I want.
The thing is, if I discluded some of the players I have right now -- (take Sams, for instance) -- I'd be even more agitated on missing out on those players. Really, I just wanted a list of pros and cons for those players that I want. Maybe you could persuade me to get the players you have. :)

Seen a few posting about being tempted by starting with Henriques. You won’t have to be tempted as he’s in the Australia A test squad and will be unavailable round 1.
Yes, I thought so. Thanks for claryfing. But can anyone clarify as to why Henriques isn't clear to play, but Short, Finch and Maxwell are? They're all playing internationally too, and some are playing all formats.

Short , Finch , Maxwell are not in the Australia A Squad.

Last T20I is on the 8th , we are all hoping CA clears them to play Big Bash from the start.

Australia A games are 6-8 & 11-13.

Page 1 of this thread lists dates , squads etc

This has probably been answered somewhere else, but for the players in the Aus test squad, are all 17 in their own bubble for the duration of the tests, thus unavailable until at least the 21st Jan, or is it possible some outside the XI will be released?

I haven't seen anything of late from CA whether they will be released or not.

Suspect with Covid substitutions in place they would need at least 15-16 at all times.

Its meant to rain from around 12pm here in Hobart so after the first lot of games it might be lights out for the day. (if the rain comes)

edit

checked its 3pm 70% chance of rain.

Aus V In Game 1 - 20/21 T20I - roughly?

I got my figures direct from Cricinfo - Hazlewood (17) 1 catch (10) + 8 dot balls (8) - 1 no ball. BBL SUPERCOACH GUNS on Twitter have him at 8pts.

Looking at Starc and Henriques, my points seem to lining up with @Tails. A massive thanks to @Beg2Differ for your Excel magic - the data is growing.

Team at the moment, still vacillating over the final lineup.
How much cash left over ?

No Zampa stands out to me , but I can see where you have spent your money.

Not sure Stanlake is worth a bench spot , if you are banking on DC.

Mind you trying to work out any other cheap benches with decent JS could be a issue.

Hinchliffe & Ingram are different.

The unfortunate thing about rain for me is that I live in America, and due to the late games – (2 A.M. for me) – I'm never able to tweak my team in time. It hurts me even more in A.F.L.S.C., with final teams coming out so late and, sometimes numerous, late changes.

Yes, disclude is a word! Most people just say exclude though. -.-

Jimmy Faulkner's teeing off in the Tasmanian Prem. Here's the link if you want to watch...

I was just thinking that he seems to have fallen off the map in terms of Australian selection. Figured he was perhaps seen as too old now, particularly couples with his injuries.

Turns out he is three years younger than Henriques!

A Hales- No interest from me at his current price and would greatly prefer Khawaja for around $45,000 less.

U Khawaja- Per the guide created by @Damion23

D Sams- Very unlikely to match or exceed the 30 wickets he took last season and his batting leaves a lot to be desired. Prefer A Milne/C Green if you are interested in a Thunder bowler.

N Coulter-Nile and D Christian both represent great value if they can match or exceed averages from previous seasons. Christian's experience and variations should come in handy at the start of the season with several players missing to international duties, etc.
