Had a decent outing last round... 1256.. got the reward for warming up with lot of DGR players in the previous rounds.

Thinking of the below trades.
Inglis -> Carey - gonna assume that Carey is gonna open and after last match failure, sure to bounce back and knows the Adelaide turf really well and more importantly, after being dropped by DC (IPL franchise), must be fired up.

Khawaja -> Labu - top scorer for aus in the recent test series, even if he doesn’t open, still, the fragile heat line up will give him chance to bat and is at dead cheap price to Free up some funds for big players.

Fawad Ahmad -> Head - planning to go early on head, bit of a POD move. He may bowl a couple of overs and no one better than him knows the AO as the next 3 matches are scheduled at AO.

Btw, Why am I not able to reverse changes now ? I just did the trades 5 mins back. No gades and star players involved as they are anyway locked.
Have you used all 3 trades ?

Once the round commences , trades can't be reversed.

Even comes up in the dialogue box as a warning before you click confirm trades.

Oopsie. I would have missed that warning sign 🙁 this is the first time am trading after the round had started. Rookie mistake i guess. May be should just sit back and pray for head’s test results to be negative and labu finds a spot in the 11 🤞.

Brilliant points but Carey only played 3 games in the IPL for an average of 16 so not much to get fired up about.

True that. The team was a star studded one. Couldn’t find much opportunities for Carey with just 4 OS players. Hope he tries to go big tmr to make the franchise regret dropping him. But, for me, all eyes on head and labu.. if they will make into the 11🙈

DC have released Carey
KKR have released Green
KXIP have released Maxwell
RCB have released Finch
SRH have released Stanlake
No surprises with any of those, especially with Maxwell. I know they were very annoyed he suddenly returned to form as soon as he got back to Australia after being awful right through the IPL.

Going early on returning test squad players in hope of getting a little advantage and jumping into top 20.
Rauf, Sams and Inglis become Neser, Head and Swepson.
Should then next round be able to afford Carey and Abbott for Wildermuth and Dorff.

Bit of a risk bringing in squad members who haven't had a hit for a while, but hoping they are raring to go.

I have to keep one of Tye or Fawad this round and essentially play them (looping with Milne lol). Any thoughts on who's the better one to keep and would score more this round? The tough hurricanes batting line up but at Marvel which seems bowler friendly at times?

Likely will trade the other one next round.

Tough call but I'd probably lean towards Fawad.. seemed to bowl quite well on the marvel track the other night and outside of a 14 point score vs the Thunder in round 8 he has a reasonably good scoring floor. Might come down to how well the Hurricanes play spin.. I think Mujeeb took 5fa against them though so maybe spin is king!
