Nothing wrong with it all.

I like to look at every trade option.

Richardson has had 8 bats this season for 2 scores of 20+ so I consider batting points a bonus.

Coming off a 177 so does he get close to that again.

Love the NCN idea , compared to Richardson bowler to bowler it's hard to actually split.
You seem locked into the idea, that Carey, Hales, and Jhye need to score 100+ to be considered good trade ins. I'm assuming this, as you keep referencing if people think they'll repeat this Rounds heroics.
JRicho averaging 81, priced to score 90
Carey averaging 61, priced to score 59
Hales averaging 62, priced to score 67
Anyone trading them in should be happy with a score around 70, maybe 80 for Richo.
I think you need to remove this idea that people expect them to score similar to this Round. They don't need to do that, to be considered a worthwhile pick.

agreed, all im talking about is why would anyone trade out the 2 you mentioned, in any situation, its not ballsy it doesn't compute

My idea is based on how many times the two of them have scored 50+ this season , to me law of averages suggest they don't back up in their next game.

Maybe it doesn't compute , maybe it does.

Don't think it is a illogical idea at all.

Might be similar to not playing Rashid Khan against the Hurricanes.

Just looking at my side I actually have

Philippe
Hales , Maxwell , Stoinis , Wildermuth , Roy , Inglis

will loop Inglis & Wildermuth

The 4 bowlers I will keep are Richardson , Zampa , Dwarshuis & Khan.

Will loop Labuschagne.

My preference actually is to bring in Abbott & NCN

So actually am happy with my players so not sure which one I would "give up" for Carey.

I generally run with the idea that bowlers are more likely to score 40 SC points than batsmen so maybe my entire thought process is wrong.

Be interesting to see Carey & Head's ownership figures for the Top 100 or 1000 and see how much it changes.

Fair enough.

I actually own Hales & Richardson.

Didn't think a little post would get so much attention to be honest.

Was just a idea.

Don't think I mentioned 100 + anywhere to be honest , just would be very surprised if Carey & Hales got near their previous score , given their historical scores this season.

Hopefully Jhye gets close to his 90 & Hales 67.

Won't be trading Carey in so hopefully he scores well.

Trades at this stage:

Out: Roy, Rauf, Steketee
In: Salt, Dwarshuis, Z. Khan

Yeah, I said I would have brought two of these in last round (and considered the other strongly) before deciding on 3 returning test players instead. These 3 outscored the ones I did bring in significantly (of course), and I think they are still good options for the last two rounds based on grounds/opposition. Outs are a combination of ownership, BE and not being in the country.

I wouldn’t ever trade them out if I had them, but I am going to go with the law of averages on this and ignore both Hales and Carey. Everyone chased Philippe this week and he was a whisker away from complete disaster. McDermott followed his 150 with a 0.

NCN and Labuschagne are the more obvious targets for me. Finch or Swepson for a loop.

As mentioned before, Hales is the most attractive of all those premium WK simply because of how aggressively he attacks the power play. Even then, I’m leaning toward Wade because he’s yet to have his “turn” at the 100+

Law of Averages, baby!!! :D:cool:

Actually think :-

Wildermuth - > Loose Bus Change is better

Move Zahir to Bowler 6

Then upgrade Fuzzy & Tye.

Strikers play Sunday so won't know what Abbott is doing.

Wade gang Wade gang! I'm seriously considering captaining him against the Sixers, since it seems to me that the Sixers leak a lot of runs in the powerplay, and Wade could very well go huge against them with a point to prove.

Think I have posted enough about this for now , certainly won't be suggesting any more ideas in the future 😀

Good luck to those that do decide to trade in Carey and/or Hales.
nah mate, I love the chat, i consider myself an extremely defensive player, I'll probably always go ok but never win it, I only ask because I am genuinely interested in others options.
