One or two of Brayshaw/Cerra/Serong is going 105-110 this year but it’s so hard to pick them. All have got plenty of capacity left in their tog/fitness and natural improvement. Would have really liked to see them in a few preseason games!

The Dunks comment is interesting. Why do you say it wasnt working. Trying to work out if Dunks role changed due to injury where he may have been managed all season in forward line due to ongoing ligament injury risk.
Don't understand the WACA comment at all , have they moved back their ? (last played AFL their in 2000)
The body wasnt, was my meaning 👍

- like Dunks this year, strong tackler, had niggles early last year more than anything. Bevo gave him plenty of CBAs (91% first 3 games and wasnt working). Diff roles thru season. Apparently was getting possies at will in practice match thru mid.
Im not sure where this comment has come from. Had 1 bad game in round 1 where the pies did a serious number on the Dogs, then scored 2 130s before injury hit.

AFL could have its first 12-day concussion test case. Ben Cunnington being closely monitored after nasty collision at North intra-club this morning. Stretcher called, but he was able to walk off. Was said to have been dominant too. Roos' practice match against StK set for Feb 25.

Kelly is sooooo tempting at M3 but you just know he will miss a few fixtures.
Can make a really strong case for so many in that 580-620 bracket and yet I can't get past the negatives on most of them. Too many start with the "if he can stay healthy..." problem. Kelly is as pure a 120+ prospect as you could create and has never done it. Fyfe is such a strong case for being underpriced until you realise that he's within less than a ppg of being higher than he's finished 4 of the last 5 seasons plus his role has gotten worse the past couple of years and that likely continues.

Mitchell is more the preseason issues, Crouch is an utter enigma (and the one that keeps drifting into my side) who can't put together more than a half season.

Adams at least had the decency to remind us all of why we shouldn't pick him :)

I'll have myself to blame come rd 3 and they're both late outs BUT they are value. I think Fyfe can easily go 115 while "playing forward"

Serong, Brayshaw and Cerra are far from pushing Fyfe out from playing a major Mid role. The low rotations I think actually strengthens his case this year vs last.

I just can’t get away from Bont, always seems to find his way back in my team. Can’t see him not going 115+.
He's a strong pick but already talk of him forward, which just ruins him because he's not good there. Expecting Bevo to go through this moronic plan again with all the talk, get their season off track over the first 8 rounds, realise he's going to lose his job, apply common sense and put his best midfielder back there full time, Bont averages 125 over the last 10 rounds again, they win enough games to save his job and we get to rinse and repeat it all again next year.

I really wish they hadn't got Treloar, just such a spanner in trying to read anything from last year with them.

Probably depends on what you expect from Fremantle, Fyfe resting forward could be a positive if you think the team is good and he'll still have access to the ball. With Taberner probably out early you'd expect even more of a forward role to start.

The kids are going to at least hold their share from last year though you'd think.

Problem with Fyfe is if he's only going 115 I'm not sure he's actually worth starting given he's almost certainly getting injured at some point. Never managed a full season in 11 years in the league. You really need Fyfe to be a 120 guy when he's fit to cover for when he's not.

I really like him though and he's a start or steer clear type. Kind of guy that will only be in the ~15% of teams who start him at the end of the year if he does go boom because you just can't pay top dollar part way into the season for him! Just because he's never stayed fit doesn't mean it can't happen!

J Kelly:
Lowest starting price since 2017.
1 match below 80 points from 64 matches since 2017 (RD14 2020= 74 points from 37% TOG)

Prefer to start him rather than view him as an upgrade target due to the possibility of saving 1 or 2 trades.
