Wouldn't have thought height is a good indication of JS but each to their own!
Not job security, I think he's pretty safe from that point of view if he does reasonably well.

But I think as a goalkicking small forward it's extremely hard to do well at AFL level unless you have some other tricks up your sleeve. Medium-sized forwards (as long as they're not stay-at-home types like Brett Eddy) generally lead up the ground a bit more, like Curtis Taylor and Sam Sturt last year (or Oliver Henry this year hopefully).

Just IMO... they’ve been priming him for a role and there’s been a lot of good feedback on his progress. I think in the position the team is in he should be given a role, especially in the reshuffle that has to happen after Stewart was injured. Preemptive sorry if I’m wrong. He’s in my team at the moment.
