My problem is that I don't have anyway of bringing Jordon in if he scores well again this week without sacrificing my floating donut A.Fyfe or Brockman who I don't really want to give up on.

Cripps>Jordon? It's a fair replacement based on current scoring potential! :ROFLMAO:

Just looking at L. Young as a possible mini rookie upgrade for that troublesome D6 spot. He scored well last week and based on his heat map is in the more lucrative DEF role. Just wondering how safe his spot is. Is he at risk with McDonald to return?

I would think Job security fine but scoring potential a worry at his price. Just my take from being at the game on Sunday.

Got him at D6, enjoyed his 85 last week, hoping for a similar score this week. Should hold his spot/role if he can as the Roos need to develop their young players.

Can anyone convince me that Powell is a 'must have'? I didn't start with him, but based on what I saw from his 1st game last week, he seemed out of his depth, and his score reflected this.

At this stage, I was considering bringing him and Jordon in next week, but if any other issues arise, one of them might have to be sacrificed (can't justify bringing in either of them early).

Thoughts?

I think he's more a replacement for Tarrant who is out until mid season.

Crazy how a 200k player averaging under 60 is a pass mark this year.

Everyone would’ve booted Oliver, McGrath, Walsh etc. in their rookie year without hesitation if they put up Dow’s numbers.
Disagree entirely here. If they looked terrible for the 60 that's one thing but he's looked decent, if there was a rookie averaging 90 or something that was missing the equation changes but no one has done anything to force a trade.

FWIW, Anderson cost similar last year and was averaging 56 and I held him for half the season and ended up making about 170k on him.

I'd say Dow is actually quite similar, he's looked good but the quantity has been lacking.

Will probably get dropped next week and make it an easy choice though because that would sum up my rookie luck so far

Brissy staying in Melbourne. They might have to keep plaing Sharp.
I actually don't know why the AFL don't schedule more road trips anyway. 2 teams near all the capitals of one of the biggest countries in the world. Visit schools, hospitals, go surfing or play golf, have dinner together. Outside of Vic they get to play another team coming back from a road trip so a small advantage.

So true. It’s a key part of scheduling in US sports.

is there a reason they can’t fly to gold coast and transit home without any public contact and continue to follow “COVID safe protocols”

Good point.
Last time Brissy had one case I think they shut down the whole south east. WA shut down the whole south west with one case. Premiers might still get triggered although they seemed to have calmed down since they got re-elected. AFL being conservative and it's pretty convenient just to flip the venue with a return clash later in the year.
