Looking like it will be a close, high scoring match in premier 2 league between us at this stage, you are a bit in front on projections but not as much as it seems once my captain "plays" on Monday.

Sydney rookies have a big day today, high expectations from the SC community. Might have to re-assess what we think they'll score today against a well drilled, unforgiving Premier. Does Gulden ton up again or is he locked down?

Yeah, they're bound to be a bit down on their first two games, but you've to play them on form. Everyone would have brought as many of them in as possible, so it won't be huge deal I think.

If you got Jordon & Warner over Tex that is in no way a loss. Both probably make as much money. The extra points scored by Tex costs 175k extra for them. Both those rookies look good.

Now that is one hell of a massive decision and deserves to be rewarded , well done.

I think I need to fast forward my Flynn/Meek - > premium ruck thinking to Round 6 or 5 just no idea how yet , need to do something creative and out of the box to get a massive cash hit.

My bench won't be that useful in that short space of time especially with 3 of them DNP this round & another 3 slowly crawling to a $ 100k profit (if that).

With Highmore being dropped , D6-8 becomes a early worry as well , come on Koschitzke.

Thanks Herbie, felt I had to be bold as I can see Flynn/Meek working for a little while longer but not as long as I first thought (Grundy pumping out big scores has a bit to do with it; as will whatever Flynn makes against Gawn this week, given he has Grundy next week ).

Needed to restructure and after seeing the Roos give up 10 goals to Josh Bruce (!?) I thought, YOLO let's go Tex, meaning I can maybe even bring in Grundy as early as next week and push one of Flynn/Meek to the bench.

Was looking at a final score of 20 at that stage, recovered really well in the second half. Rowe faded badly.

When I heard about Crouch's Hip I considered Sloane but ended up coming to the same conclusion as you have, not a top 10 mid.
Still, starting him over a plethora of underachieving ''premo'' mids wasn't that bad an option if Sloane averages 105-110 until round 6-8.
Adelaide had a good early draw too.

Yeah, I’m not so sure of that. One game of elite scoring - easy enough to brush it aside. Two games of elite scoring and the interest begins to grow and some jump on. Three games in a row of elite scoring to me means that he’s every chance of being a premium this season. Certainly not expecting him to maintain an average in the 130’s but 100% strike rate of elite scoring this season is damning. Has passed the eye test in every game too, he looks in the best nick of his entire career.

I would agree with the statement that he may not be a keeper but would have to strongly disagree with the statement that he will not be a keeper.

Take a look at Tex’s history.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. 15 goals in 3 games is not sustainable. He kicked 15 al last year. Definite short term win but I’ll definitely back it in that it will not last.

Defence looking like a problem beyond this week with Sharp and Highmore dropped, question marks about Clark and even Kosi not that secure I suspect. Might have to trade out Highmore despite his low BE because it is hard to see him coming straight back unless their is an injury.
