Hey Herbie, I guess the question now is, when do we unload Tex? If he keeps kicking bags it’s going to be easy to just keep him, but my plan originally was as a stepping stone, going to be interesting to see if he can keep this up against better teams and whether the Crows persist with a 2 tall forward line of him and Frampton.
Very good question.

PTA 76-77 so if he keeps exceeding that you keep him.

Can he becomes a season long keeper ? No one knows for certain , probably doesn't but maybe he does.

My original thinking was if he got to $ 450 k by Round 7 he could then easily become a Dangerfield , Marshall , Neale , Grundy , Gawn etc etc

I guess it comes down to individual coaches now and their plans for him.

Still too many have doubts , think he should be just judged in this season to be honest (but maybe I am wrong in my thinking)

Could kick anything against the Kangaroos.

I don't think he has moved this well since being a kid playing seniors for North Broken Hill.

Talk on the News during the week was that if Fogarty returns he will be playing as a midfielder , not sure how true that would be though.

The big clubs like Collingwood, Carlton and Hawthorn have no idea when it comes to recruiting youth. Port and Swans are the front runners for the future.
Port took a bit of a risk and offloaded Polec and Pittard and pulled a bunch of other pick swap shenanigans to get three top 20 pick in Rozee, Butters and Duursma. Aliir Aliir another smart pick up this year.

Yeah next four games are winnable for sure and you’d think Tex would be a big part of that, but you're right the Port game is looking like the ultimate test.

Hopefully he’s worth $600k by then and it’s an easy swap out for anyone else!

Good on the Swans for developing players as well as they do. Clubs like Essendon and Carlton have been poor at development and recruiting for a while now, much to the chagrin of their supporters (myself included).
They’ve certainly produced a quality pipeline of AFL ready talent for a while now and good on them, I think last draft was the last draft where clubs are guaranteed top talent from their academies, i think the top 20 are out now, Bulldogs wouldn’t have been able to get JUH this year.
