Yeah its been a rough start for the year and maybe that has something to do with starting ruck structures which seem to have impacted early i the season.

My readng of the above tables is that only 3 of 18 teams in the PL have gone the at least one 'rookie' on-field ruck line with Flynn at R2 and Meek/Hunter at R3.

I think if you look a the top performers to date the teams with a 'rookie' at R2 are considerably out-perfoming the teams with Grundy and Gawn at R1 and R2.

I think Gawn and Grundy at R1 and R2 teams, may have made some compromised picks or have more/poorer scoring rookies on field which as put them somewhat behind the 8 ball or maybe that's just my team o_O

Things may turn around, but I'm not overly confident.

That’s a good analysis... hopefully the GG ruck structure starts to reassert itself in the coming weeks

Yeah great summery, and yes only 3 x Premier League coaches went for a Gawn/Flynn setup with the rest going Gawn/Grundy.

Personally, my team is in such a mess that I don't actually know how to fix it, I've got issues everywhere... Neale, Duggan, Tom Green, Caldwell, Phillips and that's after having also had to jettsion Rowell and Dangerfield last week. It's going to be a long way back for me I fear.

Maybe its time to through caution to the wind and try something different.

Might be a case of if you can' beat them join them.

Yeah it might fail, but nothing ventured nothing gained.

Someone talk some sence to me, lol :eek:

Ride GG for now as they looked better on the weekend. As long as you have Flynn on the bench for cash growth, there isn’t much you can do and you can’t get round 1 back again. Look to fix other critical issues in your team and ensure you have all of the important rookies.

Yep I'm playing a tagger. Also tying the wind sock down so my opponent doesn't know which way the wind is going. 😉
