Prior to 2016 I think Carlton supporters could have been asking the same question of Richmond. Remember that famous tune "Oh Richmond have finished Ninth Again?" The Blues have won more premierships than the Tigers and more in the last 40 years despite the Tigers recent success. It is swings and roundabouts. Unless you are a Dockers supporter. Then you are presently not allowed into the playground at all. But even that will change one day. Mind you I think the Blues do need a change of coach.

Agree that it can change quickly. That Tigers team had already played in three finals series though. If the Blues aren't ready to push for finals now, not sure when they will be.

I think who is in the wheel house matters a lot. Teague needs help. Not sure who or how. Dimma was considered just average until Blake Caracella and some other guys came on board and fixed some of the issues he couldn't. Then it turned around real quick. Coaching would be a tough game and not for the faint hearted.
