Why on earth does a competition with an even amount of teams have byes in round 2?? Especially given the possibility of matches being postponed due to COVID restrictions at any time, it seems insane to me to not give the comp the flexibility of using them later on...

not saying there’s anything to it but the number of games that get decided by the timing of the free kicks when the final account appears relatively even is higher than you would think

Can anyone shed light on Bergman's chance of playing again?

I'm thinking of Campbell > McCreery but Bergman being dropped would definitely lock me into it.

We don't know if Dunkley is out yet. Could continue to play with strapping. Fyfe did it for years.

They will put him on ice for the finals. No point risking one of your stars when your finals birth all but confirmed.

It’s not as if the Dogs are short of mids.

Yeap reckon most of us are low on trades at this early stage of the season.
Going to be painful to see the champion sat on the bench for a few weeks.

I think it was @Goodie's Guns assured us Kosi would be in. I’m going to pop into VFL at Vic park today, so I’ll let you know about the Bombers guys.

Waterman named in VFL team. Not Jones though.

Edit: Waterman looks to be playing VFL. Named on field. (Also, a mystery spot to be filled for those into Cluedo.)

Looks like we’ll probably bring in Phillips tomorrow and 2MP stays forward. Tall. Don’t think it will be raining though.

Likely given Lachie Jones injured. Think they get some players back, maybe not enough to squeeze him out.
