A north win here would make it a pretty much perfect round from an Essendon supporters perspective. Would open things up nicely. Of course they'd need to capitalise, which hasnnt been an Essendon strength recently.
Um wait, wasn't it scheduled Monday night so that the covid crowd restrictions were eased? Allowing more people in, and greater revenue for your club compared to a fixture over the weekend where the heavier restrictions were in place? Wasn't this the exact thing that WCE fans were complaining about when the game had to go ahead a month or so ago in front of no crowd?
The AFL are corrupt pushing out the game by a day to allow WCE a far larger crowd.
10 day weather forecasts being extremely accurate for time and day, I agree the AFL are negligent. Western Australians are like cats. Hate water from dew to rain to rivers to oceans.
