Cripps looking good- happy to have another look next week before doing anything drastic. Kicked 3 very well timed goals today, but looks good for 105+ average if the last 3 quarters is repeated next week.
They do play the Dogs next week, if he manages to put up a score against that midfield I think the whole competition will jump on!

I wouldn’t be reading too much into Carlton’s midfield from this game considering Richmond basically just had Jack Graham and a cooked Cotchin. That said, Ed Curnow comes in to this side and the sky is the limit
From memory Richmond leak points to midfielders as well, were always a consideration for VC/C when premiums were playing them last year.

Not to downtalk the Carlton mids too much, they looked fantastic.

I've always loved the footy but it's getting really difficult to watch a game, the AFL has made nearly every contest dictated by the umps.
Would I be correct in my assumption that you also believe that the players and coaching staff hold no accountability towards the result of the match given any attempt to do so is futile due to the appalling overreach by officials?

Nice game from the Blues. Love their midfield tonight. Probably need to keep in mind this is the 2nd worst midfield to WC in current state.

Hewett - They freed man and look at him go. Another Sydney special misusing players and going to another level when traded.

Gov - Is a reckless player, had a bad fall at training 3 weeks ago, didn't finish the AAMI match and now fell on his hip. Role is good and hes a good player in it, confident in the air. Durability the only roadblock to getting into the 400s.

Durdin - Floated in and out the game, blues have found one here. A nice rookie but not the end of the world without him, glad I paid up though.

Cripps - Highly owned, non owners (myself) might have a problem here. Played injured for over 2 years basically but still, if he can clean up his disposal he's going to pull a 170 and really hurt. Given history most likely requires a trade at some point.

Kennedy - With Walsh back perhaps he gets Fwd status by R12, see how he scores with Walsh in the team.

Dusty - 104 but dont care one bit for him as a pick until the byes if at all.

Short - Don't know how he scored 100+, terrible. Loaded up on kick ins at least.

Gibcus - Cramped up hard and sat out the last 10-12 minutes. Got involved in some chip work down back and some good little things. Hopefully just trots on and makes 80-100k. Still wish I faded but greeded with the 4 back rooks.

Hugo - Rioli took the role, unfortunate.
