I thought I was seeing things but looks like Ben Rutten has lost the plot. Putting both your best inside-mid AND your best intercepting defender up forward. Good god
Also thought he'd lost the plot R1 last year. Might be a slow starter... hard when we're struggling for forward options. Gotta try something I guess.

Hoping that being cautious and not bringing in any FD will pay off - not that I was in a position to, but I've played it very safe re: expensive bench options. If COVID chaos is avoided for the year I'll absolutely be behind the 8 ball.

It certainly does look like Dangerfield and Hawkins siphoned off all the points with their huge first quarters!
It is what is.
It's swings and round-abouts.
I've still found it a bit perplexing how late stats (even a whole last qtr, if game one sided) are valued less, unless the game is on the line!
4-5 years ago saw Dusty take a contested mark, kick the goal, and get 6 SC points for his effort.
Richmond were only 14 points up with 5 mins to go when he did it.
If he did it in the 1st qtr he'd get 15-16 points.
