Scoring potential isn't the issue, it's his JS. Looks like Xerri no. 1 ruck, Goldy ruck/fwd, CCJ VFL, is clear way to go. But I'm worried that it will only take 1 bad game for them to drop him and give CCJ a go. Especially if they promised CCJ ruck time when he was recruited.
Comben will come in soon too. North fans really rate him. Hard for them to fit all those talls in. I thought North looked better when Goldy was in the ruck but he was also their best tall forward. Their setup is still confusing.

No, I felt it was an obvious shift in the early distribution of points and over course of the game. Thought we had plenty of discussions on it last year. Much more consistent throughout the game, and less scaling once the game was done than previous seasons. Not suggesting anything untoward - but I thought the shift was pretty recognisable, but not really reflected upon from CD or SC officialdom. Just my recollection. You'd have guys on 97 at half time, who played just as well in second halves and would end up on 110. I think there was a shift in distribution or interpretation within the game, that's all.
I think they had to do something, as there examples of it going the other way, too.
Rance 95 at half-time. 3 Disps after half-time, and a couple of Clangers, ended up on 160!!!

I generally think they overscore the early acts, and the late game acts get underscored, unless the game is on the line.
Your observation of players being 90-100 at half-time, seemingly playing ok in the 2nd half to end up on 130 might be part of balancing out (or scaling) these overscored early parts of the game.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Glad I wasn't making it up - I remember it being annoying compared to how things had been scored before, but I think it will be the standard now.* There's always going to be controversy though.

(*It was always great seeing your player on 90 at half time knowing there was a good chance he'd end up 160 odd, but you're right. They seem to be trying to reflect influence over the course of a game, and in the end, or rather the beginning, that's what CD were trying to do. It wasn't designed to be a game, but like the game itself they will probably never stop tinkering with it - hopefully more productively than not.)
