Don't think it will hurt him too bad, might slightly lower his Ceiling. Given his around the ground work and even still losing hitouts, he'll piss in 105 and is not a bad bet for 110-115. When Martin played in the AAMI or practice game, English was still used as the number 1 whereas he was more fwd last year with Stef.

People without English in big trouble for overall I think (me!). Did it in AF and SD since I care less... Hayes R2 is going to deservedly end in tears I think

Dogs vs Swans
General - That was a hard game to watch, commentators were putrid, umpiring felt a little one-sided, the Swans effort level was very poor and the Dogs refused to put me out of my misery with their goal-kicking! Dogs just completely outworked the Swans who just looked really flat after such a big week and just couldn't match the Dogs effort level or even really get close.
Dogs - Bad kicking made it interesting but were otherwise dominant, on another night they win by 10 goals, of the 100 runs of this game with these respective levels this is probably 99 out of 100 for how close it ends up! Amount of times that 2 Dogs would go up in the air and then they'd also have a +1 at ground level, every kick into space, the tackling numbers, everything just backs up that the Dogs brought it and the Swans didn't.
English - Ratio actually felt rough, he was excellent. Probably a fair few sharked hitouts as that's really the only explanation for an 8 clearance, multiple intercept mark and zero clanger game being that tight on the ratio. He was brilliant.
Dunkley - How to make a ok game into a great one, lay 11 tackles. His tackling set the standard for the Doggies and he was exeptional.
Hunter - Back on the wing this week and back to your regular programming, I have no idea why they've been playing him out of position but the impact on the team is so huge.
Smith - Kicking was horrid but workrate unquestionable.
Bont - Salvaged something from a poor game and bad role. Obviously still struggling as he played mostly forward, late junky sealer over the back was a nice boost. Going to be real value in a couple of weeks and the DPP change is starting to look more likely than not. 50% forward in round 1, 57% forward in round 2 and 54% tonight.
Treloar - Rare ratio porn from him, was really good. Love when he handballs more than kicks, means he's getting inside and, well, not kicking clangers! Looking really solid.
Dale - Massive last quarter to salvage a draw from tonight, took on a lot of really aggressive kicks and didn't hit them tonight but still looks great role wise.
Macrae - Stinker of a last quarter and was VERY lucky that the worst clanger of the game ended up being a +3 for him instead of the -12 it should have been, genuinely almost cost them the game. It's so weird to see him as a golden ticket exploiting ratio monster instead of his usual horror ratio domination! He was good first half, solid in the 3rd but really bad in the last, think he had 1 handball for the whole quarter. TOG seems low as well. Not bad to play that averagely and come out with a 95.
Daniel - Just didn't seem to get onto the ball, partly because it just wasn't in his region a lot but basically Keath and English kept marking everything so not much at ground level for him to feed on.
Richards - Not sure if anyone grabbed him but solid enough again.
Swans - Just a really poor game. Out worked, out tackled, out pressured, out executed. That textbook letdown game after a great fortnight built on excellent pressure and kicking, then just came crashing back to Earth this afternoon. Not many winners out there.
Blakey - Was outstanding, ratio feels rough here, didn't feel like only one CP and didn't feel like 5 clangers, he really was the only Swan who ever looked like turning the game.
Franklin - Really solid score from him but little impact, couple of late brain fades also stopped our momentum dead until Macrae kickstarted it.
Heeney - Strong ratio for him given how bad his first half was to the eye test, I watched on delay because 4:20 is literally AIDS of a starting time for games until half time and genuinely thought he would be on about 20SC to 45DT at the half so was shocked it was 40 odd (nailed the DT at least!). Tough game overall, just no ball movement which means no space. He's done really well here, this could have easily been a 70 and getting that to the 90 range is what takes a 95 guy to a 105+ guy.
Lloyd - Basically the opposite of Blakey, surprisingly good ratio (even for the Gull King). He wasn't good, wasn't terrible. He looks like the consistent god that he always has.
Gulden - Quiet game but was important when he touched it, just not enough. Same as Heeney where bad ball movement meant no space.
Mills - Stinker for him, what he did was bad and there wasn't nearly enough of it.
Parker - Ditto, not overly forward, just failed to get his hands on the ball and couldn't stick a tackle all night. Going to be really cheap now.
HIckey - Medial is suspected, was playing brilliant as well, was dominating the actual ruck contest. Hopefully nothing serious.
Florent - Another example of how low his bad games are, playing a great role but just can't influence games.
Campbell - Had a real mare of a game, his missed gimme tackle on Bont that led directly to a goal basically summed our game up, it's one of the easiest tackles you could ever lay, the average amateur sticks that 99 times out of 100 and he just completely whi***, goal.
McCartin - He was great, ratio pretty ordinary, imo. Had a lot of spoils and didn't seem to score on them, lot of intercept, quality ball use, couple of pretty weak FA probably stunted it a bit but thought he was better than his score.
Stephens - On the flipside, might have been worse than his score Another who just missed tackles he had to make, didn't use it well, to be fair a couple of the FA were rubbish calls, one cost him an effective handball CP so those bad calls really swing the ratio quickly but he just didn't work hard enough to space, didn't work hard enough to the next contest, didn't tackle. Not a good time to do it with McInerney due back next week as well. On a positive he wasn't alone, lot of passengers but going to be lucky to stay in the side after that.

Agree on Treloar, was good to see him handball and kick short to targets rather than blindly bomb as he usually does.
Agree on Heeney, if that’s his floor, that’s awesome.
Unfortunately, agree on Stephens, I got sucked into “trade boosting” to bring him in, may only last a week in my side if McInerney just replaces him but thankfully on the bench!
