2/249 - Witherden & Short. Got the midfield (E) on Clark so will access that through a loop.

Pretty happy with Clark's match first up & surely gets another few matches in succession from here.

Also, son had his first match of u/12's footy this morning. Few 9 year olds in his team & played a side with a heap of top agers. They got smashed & there's a few sore & sad kids going about their weekend right now. Still, it's good to be back.

Hard to watch a team struggle like the Eagles. I’m a stoic eagles hater but there’s no joy to be taken in an easy kill.

They’re as bad as any team has been in the last 20 years and going to get considerably worse in the next couple seasons I reckon. List managers butthole be airtight come review season.
Yep was hard to watch last night, and to go with that got a sore head this morning after 1 (10) too many rums.

As you said can't see much upside either right now! Our list is either ageing stars of yesteryear, or guys who have played a handful of games. Plus to top it off, those purple blokes over the road are going ok and my few docker supporting mates are suddenly up and about

Often the two teams run on opposite cycles, Eagles bottom 2010 as Dockers started ascendancy into 2013, then they briefly overlapped 2015 as Eagles built and Dockers fell away. Now its time for the Dockers rise and Eagles to rebuild.

My concern is any top pick we keep going for draft sliders, maybe as we didn't have top 10 picks. We go for the injury prone player who couldn't do the combine fully or played U18s the entire period. We then three too much away for Kelly when we made the mistake like many we are in a premiership window and we sell the farm.

West Coast made Richmond look amazing tonight…I still don’t think the tigers are anywhere near top 4 material…..funny how the commentators were saying the tigers were back lol….
Yes, the commentaters where pathetic, i watch the game with the sound off when they began talking this nonesense.

Hoenstly how does BT still have employment as a commentater.

If we can split our Pick 1 or 2 this year and get both Elijah Hewett & Jackson Broadbent it would be great, Then trade next years first rounder for another first rounder this year, and add two high second round picks (ours & Ports 2nd rounder)... plus add Chesser back playing next season.... Then suddenly we'd have 6 top 20ish picks coming into the playing team next season. Make it happen West Coast, lol

Quick question :

If you have two players on same line not playing, can u loophole twice?
Eg. Gibcus, TDK on bench with the E.
Hewett and another non player on field in defensive line
If TDK does well … leave

Then if TDK fails swap Hewett out for Daicos and loophole in mids using Hewett.

If you have 2 E's on the same line, and only use 1, you get the lower of the 2.

Then watch your list manager pick blokes like Dow, SPS, O'Brien and Setterfield (bid matched originally).

Tends to slow the rebuild down somewhat.
