Whom is this Grant you speak of?

I thnk depending on your bye situation Brodie has the better bye as far as I'm concerned and can be flipped around his bye.

If it is Clark you refer to, then I would probably lean towards A (if this helps with the bye management), personally I'm happy to sit on Brodie a bit longer.
Yes, Clark. Corrected. Don't know why I did that. I think it's because Footywire index by first names, which I've never understood. That will be my excuse anyway. His name isn't even Grant. Lol.

If thats true helps with trade planning. Not that I dont believe you @Professor

McComb, Curtis this week, Rioli, Carroll & Clark next week amongst others!
Clark missing a week shuffles it around nicely for 2 down 1 up this week. And same again next week.
Was getting busy trying to find some extra $ generation while also picking up some Premos.
Need to move on Rachele, MacDonald, Ward, McCartin who are maxed out. McCartin could make a little more.
Picked up Hobbs last week who got burnt by all his team mates on the small sample size I saw so hopefully he can turn that around and make some $$ and not languish on the pine!

Also worth noting the success rate of stand coaches this year, anyone backing Knights and WCE this week v Brisbane 😂😂

Don't really like the look of any of the downgrade rookies, but I need at least one. Their scores seem all seem alright and even impressive until you consider their opposition.

McComb 2 goals against Essendon.
Carroll 19 disp 1 goal against Roos.
Rioli 14 disp and 3 goals against WC.

I can't fit Strnadica in, without running a rookie ruck with Pruess and stuffing up forward structure - sort of wish I'd passed on Hayes last week.

I guess with Clark on the horizon you have to make do, and I have to do some more research.

Personally will back Rioli, because Rioli.

You'd think Curtis is probably the safest given the respective positioning of each side, but I feel Richmond needs what Rioli brings. Scoring likely feast or famine though.
Whoever it is they'd be on the bench - just as long as they make money and can provide back up if needed. I like Rioli's DPP as well. I just haven't done enough research into rookies this year.
But I really want to make a move this week on a couple of trades so I need a downgrade.

Could be a matter of any or all of, Curtis or McComb this week, Rioli next week, and Clark the week after. Don't think going early is a great idea at any point, but this year in particular its fraught.

McComb’s role looks way better to me. Rioli playing small forward, McComb playing on a wing, has also played two games. Think McComb is the better choice, especially off two games.

I really don't want to pick McComb, because he looks like a VFL player and only scored well last week because we're **** and he got 2 easy goals, but he would make my upgrade next week easier.
He butchered the ball a hell of a lot, there’s a chance that gets better and makes up for the points he won’t be getting from goals. I thought he was the #2 downgrade option behind Clark but I’d have him as no #1 with Clark out.

Rioli played small fwd vs west coast and scored junk time goals. And Carroll, whilst probably a better rookie than McComb at this stage doesn’t have great js and you’d like to see a second game from him.

For most of us the rucks are too hard to get. Curtis is a small forward at North, can’t be too good long term.

I think I'm going to use my 4th boost this week

Whitfiled, NDacios, Rachele to Sicily, Pendes, Clark

Leaves 19 trades (1 boost)

Ridley, Short, Sicily, Hewett, Pendles, McCartin (Hinge, SDK)
Macrae, Jelly, Neale, Cripps, Rowell, Green, JDG, Clark (NOD, JHF, Ward)
Gawn, Pruess (SHayes)
Dunkley, Heeney, Parker, Brodie, Coniglio, Martin (Dixon, Benning)

Leaves only $20,600 ITB

Whitfield is basically colatoral damage related to having too many Rd 12 premiuims. Probably going early on Dacios, but gets two round 14 keepers (which are lacking).

Leaves as definate upgrades McCartin, Clark, Martin and Pruess (maybe), but still have plenty of dispsable value on bench (SDK, Hinge, NOD, JHF) to get the last upgrades done.

Thoughts?
So you need 2 premo mids, one of who is named Steele, the other Oliver and a premo defender.

I need Gawn, Steele and a premo defender, then perhaps Preuss upgrade. 18 trades, 1 boost, $80k ITB. With 2 to 3 reasonable priced cows to trade on each line. Sound familiar?

I’ve just updated my trade from McComb in to Nads in because of the mid downgrade options coming. Was very happy with McComb option.
