Spot on. Went straight at him with zero intent for the ball. Greene does that and the discussion is 5 weeks minimum

Can someone please tell me how the SC scoring works. I am in absolute disbelief over Blakey's score. He only has 12 touches and 8 of them have been kick-ins! So he has 4 measly touches outside of cheap kick-ins! He has only 1 contested disposals yet he staggeringly is sitting on 60 points! I get his efficiency is high but its basically impossible to have an ineffective kick when you just thump it long from kick-in! I always thought SC was the one method that rewarded contested footy and not cheap uncontested nothing touches!

No it's not, the free count is entirely irrelevant if the frees are there. Carlton are first at the ball and when they don't have it their tackling pressure is what is winning them frees.

Does it matter if it has minimal or no scoreboard impact, caused by ill-discipline or a worthy reward for one side placing high pressure on the other?

Seen it happen with a fair few players when they get on in age.
Not a deliberate act but a slow and wrong decision in the mind.
Often their decision making falls away.
