It’s been tried before and continually falls on deaf ears. If Player X has scored below 30 at QT, it is virtually impossible to score 100 or more come the end of the match as players score at a constant or decreasing rate for the remainder. If Player X has scored below 50 at Half Time this signals another nail in our coffin for the Supercoach season and best to return to those errands that have been put off for far too long and what a pathetic decision and lack of foresight for selecting him over Player Y. Those 10-30 points lost highlights that it is time to find another hobby and there is no possible way of redemption over two, ten or fifteen matches.
On the contrary, if a player scores 40 points in a quarter then it is an utter disappointment if they fail to convert this into a minimum 160 and as for those scoring 50-60+, anything less than 200 is frowned upon.
