No Richo, no Hardie and a benched Inglis hurts. Still, I have 7 Thunder and Matt Short to come, so there’s scope to make up ground. Had a good start, ranked around 550th after the first round, so hopefully don’t drop too far off the top bracket. Pretty comfortable with my setup.

Short made a big difference for me tonight, to help get me to 1,070. Fortunately he managed a few points over Rashid, who seems to be the more popular option as a medium term hold. I benched Inglis’ 140, and Gilkes could barely get 10% of that in dual roles across two games … onwards and upwards!

All done on 923.. horrible round but you can’t just post the good scores and then slink away when you have a shocker!

Badly misread the Richo situation, tried to loop Inglis without realising I had no loop keep so had to field Gilkes, missed the Perth lockout so didn’t grab Hardie as the $100k player I needed this week to facilitate the other trades. That just put me on tilt and the round became a train wreck.

Once I realised I was in strife this round I switched focus to trying to make up some ground next week, have Steketee already and cash to get 3 strong BH plus a Dooley. Just need to hope I have the right SGR players to make it pay off.

SC is a fickle beast, but good lord BBL SC is a whole new level!!

Cheers! Yep it can definitely swing wildly each week but hopefully it swings my way.. just keep reminding myself I’ve had shocker rounds before and still ranked top 100 so stick to the process and it’s not done with yet.

2 of the next 3 at Optus and a massive negative breakeven with two of the matches against a pretty rubbish Stars batting lineup, feels like just about the biggest must have in the game to me right now.

Whom do you suggest to leave our mate? Steeks- I think is a no-brainier. Neser-does he have job security for the 2nd game? Bazley-bowling at death I guess or do you think I can let go bazley and go for Naveed?
