Poor round, which could have been saved with the changing of 2 50/50 calls. Steketee vc changed to bazley last minute which caused rashid to be picked as c and then Clarke over Inglis. Those two blunders cost me over 200 points and were easily avoidable.

Probably puts me in the region of 5k+ rankings and is going to be tough to overturn. Fortunately I have a good amount of cash generation going on, so I can recover. Just frustrating I’ve not nailed a captaincy call in 3 rounds.

1,078 for me.

That’s slightly up on last round, with only 3 DGR players this round versus 9-10 last round*, and Matt Short standing in as an SGR captain.

Can’t be unhappy with how my players performed in light of that!

*Inglis ended up on the bench behind Gilkes

Dad (83) had a poor round, all my fault when suggesting he shouldn't have Pierson as VC. He took Bazley, although he actually had Neser in his notes.
With Bazley's poor score he was deciding between Short and JR. He ended up benching Short to look at Inglis, with Hardie onfield, so not to have two Scorchers on the bench at the same time.
Sam's was in BWL2 and Hosein was the E, so couldn't put Shirt there. So also missed Shorts 102.
I feel bad. So I'm not interfering again. ☹️ Of course, he's already thinking of next trades 😁 "Bazley is gone"

Neser and Inglis combined for just over half of the score (327). Shadab Khan was the only other player to score more than 40 with Zampa, NCN, Tye, Richardson, Khan (C), Renshaw, Bazley and Stoinis all below 40. Averaged 1245 over the first two rounds. :ROFLMAO:

In fairness to Gilkes he did a great job this round for me personally & a few others I would think … allowed me to loop Inglis onto the field - well done Gilkes 😜😜😜
1030 with a very average score from captain A.Agar (after a last minute change from Neser to Bazely as vc 🤷‍♂️).

Very happy with the points from Stek, Neser and Wood with special mention to the stellar efforts of Gilkes and Naveed onfield allowing me to loop Inglis and Hosein. 😉

Absolutely bottled it yet again, bypassing the obvious VC in Steketee to punt on Munro and then Rashid.

My usual strategy of hedging between batters and bowlers on the DGR team(s) is failing miserably, feels like the only top order bat who has genuinely come off in their DGR is Short and I couldn't get up to him after everyone from the first game was locked out...

Opening bats named Short have been my bane for years. Never trusted that Darcy was worth the price either...

680 RK (5 DGRs)

Absolute disaster with only Billings and Neser with decent scores and everybody has them. Outside of Billings my teams got 132 runs from 16 visits to the crease and 37 of those came form CDG. To rub salt into the wound my V (Bazley) outscored my C (RK).

Decent start ruined by round 3 not for the first time. Time to focus on the Elite XI.
