Do you really expect those handling the administration of accounts to be well versed in the codes of conduct for the relevant sport set by the governing body/authority/etc and undergo a rigorous process/checklist to ensure content is moderated before posting?
I just think its laughable to take action for an act that kids can rewatch 1000 times over and go out and repeat the next game they play anyway, each to their own we arent going to agree on this one.

Social media is designed to get the most views possible, if they have footage that’s going to get the clicks, they don’t care what they’re showing.

Wade knows he’s being recorded on national television. You play a crap shot and get out, own it and get off the field. No need to chuck a tantrum on field. Go and swear your head off in the change room like the rest of us.
Inclined to agree with Shaun here. If you're going to (reasonably, imo) argue that Wade is a role model for the kids watching then it's pretty disingenuous to amplify that kind of behaviour and hide behind "we're just trying to generate traffic". That feels like having it both ways.

Last time I saw Tim Paine he wasn't exactly setting great examples either, yet it's OK for him to play because time has healed old wounds?

I get the stuff with the kids and I agree with some form of discipline from that respect.

I just find it a completely farcical situation really.
Punter wont pick him after he slagged off Cricket Australia for months on end surely, surprised they didn't bring Doran into the squad.

Never said that what the twitter page has done wasn’t wrong either. They shouldn’t be advertising that sort of thing, but the way of the world dictates that things that are controversial or deemed to be entertaining will be put on display.

At the end of the day, the competition has set its precedent, Wade had multiple chances to correct his behaviour and didn’t. Can’t blame anyone but himself.

For those who like Mujeeb: he has started this season well but he was very hit and miss last year.
His BBL 11 SC scores: 65, bye, 38, 8, 6, 95, 106, bye, 66, 4, 36, dnp and dnp
In 11 innings he took 8 wickets with 3 coming in the one match.

He was much better in BBL 10: only 7 matches but he started with 3 scores in the 30s followed by 158, 60, 102 and 103 (DGR?)
In 8 matches he took 14 wickets with a best of 5/15

But in BBL 9 he only had one good score: 38, 7. 11, 15, 172 (DGR)

I'm not saying don't start him in the DGR.
But I'm waiting until the DGR to bring him in to my team.

Round 4 Trades

Tye - > Hosein (3 rounds late)
RK19 - > Kerr
Swepson - > Mujeeb (not 100% convinced , but fingers crossed he does better on his DGR than Swepson did)

May boost depending on the Sixers final XI

Round 5

Steketee gets Abbott
Neser gets Richardson , K
? gets Philippe

Final one will depend on if I boost this round and if Hosein gets DPP for Round 5.

EDIT : Completely forgot about Philippe 😱

If you intend to get him next week then he's a valid option this week to. There's nothing stopping you benching, or even looping him this week. Job security is neither here nor there, he's 100% playing if fit. The BE isn't exactly big at 26.

Have you used a boost yet? Reckon 6 Sixers and Renegades is enough when they are playing each other.

Used a boost in Round 3.

Waiting to see if Naveed returns or not (or go Jordan)

Will have :-

Abbott , Kerr , Philippe
Hosein , Mujeeb , Richardson

Forgot all about Philippe until I just typed his name out 😀

Don't mind fielding Jhye on a SGR so prefer a extra DGR bowler v a bat

Inglis & Sams both play , just need to juggle the other 2 spots

Assuming Hosein will get DPP

My general rule in this situation is to have your early trades be the bankers, who you're not gonna jump off after one poor game or whose role is at risk.

With that in mind...

OUT: Munro, Renshaw, Zampa
IN: Abbott, Philippe, Cam Green

This round is essentially why I chose not to start a donut. Take the value on offer early, flip underperforming options into proven guns. Don't want a huge haul of DGRs in R5 given the draw (and the Sixers being perhaps slightly worse than expected) so don't need the extra right now.

Current team:

Inglis (Wade)
Sams, Shadab, Neser, Philippe, Stoinis (Webster E, Gilkes)
Abbott, Hosein, Steketee, Rashid, Tye (Naveed E, Green)

Feels like a very strong side to have as early as round 4 and yet I'm outside the top 5000!
