Hunter gone doesnt really concern me as such, he only played half the year anyway and they've recruited a genuine mature aged replacement, running other names through the midfield is the main concern, Macrae has never shown any actual ability to play anywhere else, significant time forward could be some serious pain while Bont can do it and still dominate, just alot less things to go wrong for mine.

Tooserious is back, so I thought i'd look at the year to date (YTD) prices rises from last year at Round 10.
Now, there is the obvious plays that everyone had in Brodie, Nic Martin, McCartin, Daicos.
What stands out to me is the $200 k - $300 k range, like Curnow, Newcombe, Richards, Frampton, Stengle, Chapman.
Now good luck if you even selected 2 of them but shows that it can be done.... it's just very very difficult.

Its not even his pace as such he just doesnt have any accountability at all and when the direct opponent is quick and dangerous he really got exposed the other way, whether its just laziness or something that can be worked on can probably be debated but I just dont think you put an inside mid that isnt really a two way player on the wing and expect it to work.

A year on from the horror fortnight of injuries that ruined their 2022, West Coast’s tall forward stocks are teetering.
Spearheads Jack Darling (ankle), Jack Williams (ruptured spleen) and Oscar Allen (hamstring tightness) sat out Friday night’s intraclub with injuries, just four weeks out from round one.
While Darling and Allen are likely to be fit for the season opener against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on March 18, their preparation has been compromised by injuries.
Allen’s injury is believed to only be minor, but all eyes will be on the 23-year-old when the Eagles train on Monday morning ahead of a practice match against Port Adelaide at Mineral Resources Park on Friday.
But it was about this time last year when a sore foot sidelined Allen before he was eventually ruled out for the season.

I agree. That is why I picked him. What I do not like is the lack of positive comment on him at training (other than something generic like "he looks okay") and the comments like "he looks proppy" "has the hat on" and "has lost weight, not sure if it is a health issue". At his price any chance of a problem and he is out. Hence I want him to turn it on in the pre season game.
