Hope you've got some spare change to work out rookies with, particularly on the bench.

Go Oliver down to Steele & free up 100k to put realistic rooks in their place.

Something like this may work with Coniglio taking the place of Macrae to be flicked forward later in the season.



I count 12 keepers with Cunnington as an outside chance as a 13th.

I wonder how many started the weekend with Marshall and English, then swapped Marshall out for Darcy, then swapped English out and Marshall back in 😄😄

I'm sure there'll be a few Daicos to McGrath swaps done already as well.

Haha, quite a few I imagine. (I haven't changed my ruck for a couple weeks, but will be popular now, Darcy/Marshall)

You're going to struggle with these rookies on your bench and the guy at M8. You need people that will be playing and making cash. Pick your rookies first.

It's a bit different but don't mind it myself, my main concern would be the Atkins pick albeit I haven't been keeping much of an eye on the practice matches so maybe I'm missing something. I would be trying to get him up to a Daicos type player potentially by going Rat to a cheaper rookie like Greene.

Thank you. Provides me plenty of price points to play around with in the meantime without having to sacrifice too much if a rookie or midpricer presents. For example I can drop Horne Francis down to Flanders, Rat to Greene and Atkins up to Dawson or even Hopper to Callaghan and Rat to Greene to allow Atkins to Dawson. Much easier to plan for the worst with expensive rookies onfield or on the bench with a tad more than usual midpricers and then readjust from there.

Hard to separate the likes of Rozee, Taranto, etc so have decided to go for a value approach to pair with Dunkley in the forward line to allow for the cash to be spent in the key scoring areas and the forward upgrade targets to be assessed after the first batch of dual position announcements.

You might have to let the moths out of your wallet to get some proper mid rookies on field.

Yep. 100%. Previous certainties are out the window now and I'm second guessing and changing everything.

LOL i guess i will stick with it then. The structure seems good based on who played this weekend but i seriously have NFI on who has had a good pre season, role changes, coach changes etc.. so hopefully the less is more approach works!
