We'll see. Will Brodie was 23 when he arrived at Freo. Jack Steele 21 years of age when he arrived at the Saints, both chronically underutilised refugees from the expansion clubs.

I just feel I have to make compromises elsewhere to fit in a guy that expensive at F5 as well.

True, Brodie was in his 6th year at the club Steele I think was 3rd year, he went just over 90 so that would be a win. Not a keeper but still a win. Geelong will be tougher to crack into though then the Saint then.

Yep I reckon on Thursday by 5pm at the latest one should lock their Carlton and Richmond players in, and then don't try to make any other changes on Thursday night until well after the game has started.

Almost guaranteed the SC site will crash Thursday evening at some point.
