I was considering taking Dunkley VC if he hit 115, and probably would’ve succumbed if he snuck to 110 considering how I started my round. Make of that what you will.

I VC Neale, declined and C Bont. That should make your decision easy

Looks like plenty will be relying on Laird tomorrow, me included. Bont not quite enough.

Stewart, Jones, Wilmot and Constable (both on field), cowan and Chesser subs.

Backline is in major trouble.

Gawn/Witts all good. The 5 forwards have averaged 105 so far. Fine there.

I’ve bought in McGrath (who I was half considering) in the mids and he will immediately swap with Chesser next week to fill one gap. Also bought in Ash for Setterfield who will move down there in Round 7 (IF he himself works!)

With my heavy fwd line, I’ll move one to the mid line in the short term and bring in Ziebell (probably for Dangerfield). He will be needed come round 7 in that backline.

My team isn’t bad. Just had some shocking luck to start, but such a long way to go. I’m going to be very aggressive with the trades early to get myself back in to a strong position.

Yeah I think I'll have to do 3 trades this week, unprecedented but gotta deal with the carnage.

Ladhams subbed, Roberts on. Seems a slightly strange decision given they have at least 3 other players with some sort of niggle or injury concern.

Was just thinking about this. No one would have picked Laird if they thought he’d average 113 or less, so it’s a question of whether the tag, opponent etc means we expect a down game for him. I believe GWS said they’ll pay him some attention, and they are his worst opponent historically.

I’ll probably still back him in over 113 though.

Thanks everyone, appreciate your thoughts… sometimes I would rather them score below 100 or go well above 130 so the choice is easier as a VC

Other than a couple of hits a lot of the usual VC/C selections have not shown up this round. Taking Cripps score looks okay now. Well done if you went Gawn or Witts. A lot of people sweating on Laird tomorrow to bring it home.

As expected a few poor rookie scores , hopefully they get another game and can fix that next round.

Will wait to the end of the round and have a good look at the mid pricers and rookie scores and see what adjustments/corrections might need to be made for Round 3.
