What is the minimum Chandler would have to score this week for everyone to jump on?

We likely won't get any indication on his job security before price changes anyway with Kosi missing Round 2 & 3.

I didn't see the game but I'd be shocked if people were trading him after a single game. Surely we all have bigger problems then Laird
Agreed….next two rounds about capturing the correct rookies and any errors in mid prices we have selected….

best to hold fire with your teams and get another round in before moving anyone on ( unless it’s a LTI like Stewart/ Jones)

Hi All,

It's been a few years since I've played but I can't find this for the life of me.

Whereabouts is the Trades History section? More for moving forward and wanting to check previous trades.

On the home screen, click on History.

Then on the RHS, below the countdown banner, you should see the Trade History option as per below.

Port have already openly said today that they planning on tagging him :-

Port Adelaide will “look at all the options” to try and stop Collingwood young star Nick Daicos, Power defensive coach Nathan Bassett says.
The Power and Collingwood face each other at the MCG on Saturday in a tantalising clash of the two teams who arguably impressed the most in Round 1.

After his outstanding debut season in the AFL, in which he comfortably claimed the Rising Star, Daicos hit the ground running in the first game of his second year against Geelong with 35 disposals and over 500m gained.

Despite it being a pre-season game Hawthorn deployed a tag on the young star.

Bassett said the Power had been discussing how to quell Daicos’ influence on Saturday.

“We have just been having that discussion,” he said.

“Cause he is interesting in the way he plays, he certainly runs hard and hunts that footy.

“He is a super talented player and as good for his age as anyone in the competition.

“It will be a challenge.”

The Power have rarely gone with a tag from the outset in games but Bassett said that could be on the cards.

“I think we look at all the options, what is the best way to minimise his strengths and potentially expose his weaknesses.

“So we will look at all the options.

“If we think the positives will outweigh the negatives and we think we have someone to do it.”

The Power have used Willem Drew as a tagger in the past, while Lachie Jones might also be one to do a defensive job.

Like the Power, the Pies were extremely impressive in victory in Round 1 with the fast style of footy blowing the Cats away.
This will really put "Nick Daicos is a keeper" to the test. Should he sustain fantastic output despite his opposition openly claiming their top priority is to tag him, he's must field imo.

Anyone prepared to mount a spirited defence for retaining Fyfe?
Understand his draw is ok in theory, but just keep coming back to how off the pace he looked and that even when their midfield was getting beaten and he was obviously having zero impact up forward, Longmuir did not think for a single second about giving him a run around the ball.
Ended up with him as a theoretically solid option in the FWDs in the McLean / Yeo reshuffle, in practice he's looking not that solid at all.

North are his favourite team to play historically, last 7 scores v them :-

How do we fit all the rookies In.

The ones i missed.....

Sheezel (this week)
Chandler (hope he gets stranded on (2) game until round 7
Phillips (keep the sub vest)
Bytel (keep the sub vest)
Pou (not concerned if i miss)
Comben (if gets some ruck time)

Apart from Chesser happy with the other Rookies currently in my team.

Just finished watching the Port replay. JHF impressive, turned the game for PA in the 3rd Quarter. Great Role and could be A FWD keeper. Definately a consideration this week.

Marshall - Gawn may have to wait.

If you had watched his effort in the game you too might have some doubts creeping in, he was just terrible in every way and none of the usual defensive effort you see from him when he isn't racking up big possession numbers, which is really what insulates him from poor scores over and above every other premo aside from maybe Clarry.

Couple that with the opportunity to potentially bring in someone you might have missed (eg. Cogs) and it suddenly becomes a lot more tempting.

He's not dropping in price next week and if he has another stinker you can go to anyone - not even looking at him this week, be crazy too I reckon. But if he puts in another show like that I'll look to move him on for loss of points on field

That just strengthens the case for a quick flip out / premo juggle and then bring him back in with the first batch of mooing cash cows come round 5 or 6, doesn't it?

I could turn Fyfe and Laird into (for example) Cogs and LDU. Not saying that's the way I'd go necessarily, but it's worth considering at least.
I've pondered the Laird flip all day mate.. Most people will stand by giving him another week, including myself, but it's driving me absolutely insane.

I had $19.2k in the bank and I've flipped Hopper for JHF, which leaves me with $2.3k.

Current team is:

DEF: Sicily, Doch, Clark, Ginbey, Wilmot, Constable / Chesser, Cowan
MID: Laird, Neale, Bont, Green, JHF, Callaghan, Ashcroft, Mackenzie / Hollands, Baker, Davey
RUC: Gawn, Marshall / Madden
FWD: Dunkley, Rozee, Taranto, Fyfe, Flanders, Sheezel / Greene, Comben

Flipping Laird now gives me back $706.2k - enormous.
If I decide to drop a boost in and let go of Fyfe, that's now $1,019,800 to make two key corrections.

- Fyfe -> Gulden $472k is a must, which leaves $547.8k and gives me the following options:

1. Laird -> Setterfield $348.2k, which leaves $199.6k in the bank
2. Laird -> Worpel $309.3k, which leaves $238.5k in the bank
3. Laird -> Treloar $530.6k, which leaves $17.2k in the bank
4. Laird -> ???

What would you guys do?

Why are you trading Hopper?

Surely deserves another week v crows midfield? Very different proposition than last week v the blues big bodied mids.

On Laird, the guy has been a gun for a few years - first shocker in a very long time, I fully expect him to bounce back this week so he is a hold.

I think wait a week and see what happens. Similar situation happened to me last year, but it was Gawn...didn't end well.
