Would have been reasonably happy if not for the Gawn injury even if he had just managed a 90 but have to deal with that next week. Happy with new recruit Mckenna as well Ashcroft and Wilmot for bouncing back after poor scores last round. Please be nice for at least the rest of the round supercoach gods.:p

Just think, Gawn owners: at least your suffering was brief. I had to watch two hours of Tanner Bruhn doing nothing last night!

In all seriousness, good to have a good night after a few pretty ordinary ones to start the year. If Laird could kindly find some 2022 form tomorrow I think I'd be well set!

Congratulations to me!
Momentarily had my C loop set up, with Gawn on the bench at R3. For some inextricable reason, moments later I swapped Gawn and Marshall. Had I just left it, I could have avoided the Gawn donut.
I looped Hollands (71) in, using Bytel's donut. I achieved this by benching Ashcroft (105).
At least I didn't VC Gawn, which I very nearly did.
From a supporters view point, I was really excited by Melbourne's prospects this season. We were playing fast, exciting football, and Gawn's new role was a ripper. I think he was a big key to how we set up, particularly when he wasn't in the Ruck! I couldn't see us not finishing top 4, probably better. That dream is now shattered.

Rowsus: 5/339 - VC yet to play - Gawn, Dunkley, Docherty, Hollands, McKenna  (Ashcroft 105, Wilmott 68 unattainable on bench)

Wife: 6/513 - VC Cripps not taken.
