Per HoneyballAFL

The Saints also said Jack Bytel (AF $340k SC $158k MID) had a few boxes to tick to be cleared to return after a minor knee issue, but were “hopeful”. Speaking about Bytel and Jimmy Webster, Misson added: “There are a few boxes Jimmy and Jack need to tick this week, but we’re hopeful they’ll be available.”
I feel like Bytel missing another will make him much more useful for those that don't have him....

Really?

End of round 5 is an early rookie cull or a failed rookie sideways trade, if he scores ok round 4. That is potentially a cash negative correction just at the time you are looking to quickly upgrade to a more GnR play.

I have kept him, as I thought he would be too hard to get back in! If he missed another 3 it probably comes in to play with maxed out rookies and a tradtional 1 up 1 down play, however by then you would be picking him based on one game and non selection in at least two, so would have JS doubts.

All over the place on trades this week.

Now considering

Rozee - Zieball F4 (concerned if Hall is named)
Darcy-Cameron
Chesser - Setters M5

No Chandler but still allows decent cash generation and points.?

Leaves me with (13) Keeper Structure and limited rookies on field.

(Doc Dawson #35) Gibney McKenna Constable
(Laird Oliver Bont Green) Setters Callaghan Ascroft Mackenzie
(Marshall Cameron) loop
(Dunk Taranto Gulden Zeiball ?) Sheez Pedlar

Dont really want to trade Rozee but could be a POD move? Good or Bad time will tell, just think Setters is a must for Cash Generation and points. Darcy looks like he will hemerage cash next few weeks and Cameron looks a little bit fitter this year and should be a good chance at FWD keeper.? PLus its always Good to see a few MAGPIES in my team.

Bringing in Chandler just makes my FWD line look vunerable. Setters and Hopper can make up the cash difference and provide better points returns.?

75K Itb with Hopper the target when he returns.

Yeah fair call.I was thinking that there would likely be a rookie who had a good initial price rise or 2 and then threw in a stinker that killed cash gen, or disappeared.

In a world where cash generation is the name of the game, and people are expecting to chase cash aggressively, then it might come into play for a round 6 trade in for a specific team circumstance, whereas a round 5 trade in is pretty much no use.

I know everyone is excited about Setterfield, just be mindful that if he drops back to around a 100 average or drops a 60, he wont make more than around $110k before round 10. Nothing to be sniffed at for sure, but I feel like everyone sees that huge round 2 score and just thinks he will rocket to $550k before the byes.

For me Chandler is the must have, and the other two trades are highly speculative. Currently I have Zeiball and LDU but Ryan, Setterfield and Cameron have figured in my thinking.
