Darcy Cameron was in 41% of top 10% teams prior to this round. His overall ownership this round went up 17% to 34% (so we could estimated that top 10% teams would likely have been >50% ownership). He still scored 90, his price will go up. Most teams that were going any good had him or brought him in. There are 36 trades.

Your season isn't over.

It's not like he was a POD, got injured at the start of the game, or is going down in value. In which case, there are 36 trades, there are 24 rounds, and...

100% agree, it’s just one trade (35 more) and he’s still made you money even if you only had him a week. Cows aren’t ready for the slaughter so it’s not probably going to restrict other trades this weekend.

For those that hit all the other injuries - Stewart, Jones, Jelly, Gawn etc you’ve probably burnt a few trades already which would def hurt more so I get that frustration

5/446 failed Bont VC, might just put the C hat on Darcy, will have a fair bit riding on that decision as I only have 70k ITB and will need him to go large to flick him to English.
Have resisted the urge to have Naicos but he's such a greedy little fantasy pig that I can't resist any longer.

8 premos, 4 MP's and 5 rookies to come.

*Edit......nah, gonna stick to the plan and grab Daicos as one of my first upgrades, have to drop a premo or combine 2 MP's to get him now which isn't worthwhile.

If Sean Darcy goes "large" why would you then trade him 🤔

Played: T English (C), M Bontempelli, J Dunkley, W Ashcroft, C McKenna and O Baker
Yet to play:
Friday: N Daicos (new recruit) and D Cameron (new recruit)
Saturday: R Laird, J Dawson, J Horne-Francis, C Mackenzie, J Ziebell (new recruit), H Sheezel, J Kelly, F Callaghan, S Docherty and R Marshall
Sunday: C Constable, K Chandler, A Brayshaw and R Ginbey

Fantastic start especially by the duo of Captain English and Baker covering Hopper. Looking forward to my new recruits in action tomorrow and ideally a similar or greater scoreline for the Pies to last round.

Another round in which I switch plans up later in the round (Started at Ziebell and ended at Callaghan as an inclusion last round) with Cameron making a late charge to pass Coniglio. Luckily he was able to post the score that he did before being subbed. Big day today with the majority of remaining premiums in play and an opportunity for Horne-Francis to quickly compensate for last round by posting another ton at home. J Kelly also returns to the lineup, set to continue his past form against the Blues (156,124,101,131,205).

Was thinking Marshall C, but with talk of Jackson running through mids it might be worth just throwing my lot in the lap of the gods via Darcy.

Swapped Chesser back in for Constable which feels a bit dirty.

Also, Jackson $51 for the medal still with a couple of books (365 eg), could be a good turnaround story after copping a pasting.

I had Stewart, Jones, Laird R1 C, Fyfe, and brought in D Cameron this week. Ranked in top 25% and expecting/hoping to shoot into top 15% this round.

I am a bit of a glass completely full kinda guy though :)

The decision I now need to make is whether I trade Ridley back to Flanders and Setterfield to LDU giving me cash for English next week. Means Constable comes on for Wilmotts Emg score.

So essentially this week Ridley and Setterfield versus Wilmott and LDU + cash for English next week.

He's up against WCE this week and the continued doubt of the ruck share with Jackson is real for me. His effort last week scared the bejeezus out of me.
He should go large against Eagles ‘rucks’ but still remains to be seen the Jackson effect and why he was so bad last week. I’m in two minds also if Darcy is a keeper, glad I didn’t trade him to Cameron though
If Longmuir is serious he'll just ruck Darcy 80+% of the time.
Find another role for Jackson
Atm the inclusion of Jackson has destroyed what was a top 6 midfield from 2022.
