Pretty crazy couple of games but escaped with some decent scores and seemingly no injuries. JHF did well for the most part but went missing when the game was dusted.

Happy with Laird as he got a score that was solid but not crazy good to punish me for not captaining.

Ridley strong finish despite some frees against. Setterfield and Marshall recovered from pretty poor positions.

Overall, decent night. Looking forward to my fun captaincy option in Darcy. Will probably bite me in the backside, but that’s the fun of SC!

Yuh His last quarter was 1 kick, 1 handball, no tackles, no clearances 1 disposal clanger and 1 free against. Was on Laird for a fair portion of it and showed up. Totally melted when his team needed everyone to stand up. But he wasn't on his own and he is only a 2nd year player in his first Showdown

Rankine was the clear match winner.

In the last quarter with the game in the balance he produced so many mercurial moments that only supremely talented players can produce.
