Sort of hard to believe the Big O only scored 108.
Just goes to show, you may not have a recognised opponent, but you still need to produce quality, not just quantity, to post a good score!
A lot got made of the ruck situation but it didn't amount to the clearance dominance we expected. -9 is a solid loss but much closer than it could have been, especially with Titch being well held. What really hurt was putting our last real remaining forward tall in the ruck and then spending half the night bombing it to a bunch of 6 footers. Forget McInerny. I'm surprised Andrews and co didn't tonne up.

We had more I50s and shots on goal but Brisbane had the far better quality entries. Some of our defending was real entry level stuff. While Cameron, Joe and Rayner had nights out.

I don't know what that 2nd quarter was about but it's hopefully woken them up a bit and reminded them that our game relies in pressure more than fancy little double handed taps and Hollywood stuff.

We can't afford to have Elliott, Crisp, Titch and Sidey that far off their tucker. They were putrid tonight. Sidebottom in particular looked like he'd been on the bongs.

11.17 this week after 8.15 last week. A bit frustrating! Still better than the Buckley years :)

Daicos now outright favourite for the Brownlow

Admittedly hard to see how he picks up 3 votes in a losing team with McInerney doing what he wanted in the ruck and Cameron and Rayner kicking 10 between them, but it wouldn't be the first time Brownlow votes had surprised me

Best case he gets 1 tonight, 1 in R3 (0 more likely), 3 in R2 and 2 in R1, for a total of 7 votes in 4 games. A good start for sure, but certainly not outright favourite material. Cripps and Oliver would be on a similar total after only 3 games and that's without taking the best case scenario. I think the punters are getting a bit too caught up in the Daicos hype.
