Good rookie performances in the VFL/SANFL/WAFL:
Josh Fahey (123k DEF/MID) had another 37 touches (31 kicks) for GWS VFL.
Jaxon Binns (117k MID/FWD) had 31 touches and 2 goals for Carlton VFL.
Toby McLean (178k MID/FWD) had 47 touches and 9 tackles for Footscray.
Jason Gillbee (102k DEF/MID) had 24 touches and 1.1 for GWS VFL.
Zac Taylor (123k MID) had 26 and a goal along with 9 clearances for Adelaide.
Karl Worner (123k DEF/MID) had 27 touches for Fremantle.

Think we said the same last year! Darcy Cameron was probably selected by many coaches for his dual position status, affordable price and ability to cover absence in the ruck line. There is definitely an element of luck in SC!

Going to need about 150 from Ratagoulea this week to put up something respectable.

Last year was slightly different in that the injuries all hit at once - I remember one round where I went from three rucks to none!

Caught the Witts news just in time to flick him to Grundy, would've preferred English had we known that Witts was not a chance to be playing earlier, those are the breaks. Had to do the trade in order to match my opponents in my cash leagues as that's my #1 priority right now.

What started out as a simple round to grab a couple more of bubble rookies to replenish my cash cows and build the bank to set up my team for upgrade season has ended with me trading Witts & Worpel to Grundy & LDU!
