So the real conundrum for me will be to go early culling a cow to grab JVR and use the cash to trade Docherty to Stewart.

Or just use the one trade on Docherty to Dale although unsure what happened in round 1 with that poor score.

In the same situation as you. Leaning towards cashing in a rookie early.

JVR or Ryan (if rucking) look good options.

In some pretty dire territory. Could go Hollands to JVR via Dunkley, but not sure. Feel like my team isn't as bad as I'm scoring each week... just getting my coin flips wrong. Screenshot_20230411_150728_Messenger.jpg

Need some clarification on how far away Soldo is and whether or not Ryan will be the guy they turn to, cant help but think the more likely scenario is one of Biggie and Miller comes in as the 1st Ruck.
Soldo 2-3 weeks.
Biggie also injured for 2-3 weeks.
Miller is more of a defender so if he was to come in perhaps he will be ruck back up for Ryan?

Think Ryan looks a decent pick for the next few weeks, possibly until Nank is back if they ease Soldo back in through the VFL.

Miller trained as a ruck fwd all preseason, and there's no way they go in with just Ryan, fully expect Ryan to play second fiddle to Miller for the next few weeks.

Geez there are too many options this week:

Current team below:

Would love some advice:

Locked In: Doc -> Dawson (leaves me 87k)
2nd Trading Options:
Mackenzie -> JVR (leaves 227k in the bank)
Jones -> Michalanney (leaves me 100k)
Marshall -> Grundy (leaves me 45k)
Marshall -> English (can only do this if I do the JVR trade above too, leaves me 107k + a boost used)
Jones -> W.Day (if doing Mazkenzie to JVR as well, and Day doesn't get suspended + a boost used)
Madden -> S.Ryan (leaves 30k in the bank)

Most options above except for Grundy, W.Day & S.Ryan trades leave the door open for next week to do:

Davey -> D.Williams
Setterfield -> Any Mid

The problem with baker, every time he goes for the ball it looks like his going to knock himself out.
Thoughts on will day mate? Could he be in the same scoring range as those two?
Will Day looks a superb pick and will play midfield for remainder of the year….
only thing is he will be suspended this week with the dangerous tackle so you could afford to wait a week

Have Docherty in both formats, going to use this as an opportunity to jump on a player which I wouldn't have otherwise.

Sending positive thoughts to all, particularly those who've been riddled with one injury after another.

Adam Saad will go nuts while Doc is out. Cowan may get more ball?
Adam Saad has already been going nuts. Doch was playing far more up the field (basically the extra midfielder running off the back of the square / on the defensive side of stoppages). For some this is a lucrative role but didn't seem to benefit Doch who tends to thrive as loose defender (which is the role Saad has been playing)
