Have Docherty in both formats, going to use this as an opportunity to jump on a player which I wouldn't have otherwise.

Sending positive thoughts to all, particularly those who've been riddled with one injury after another.
I'm doing the opposite and getting the player I should have got in the first place - Dawson

I won't complain since I don't own Doc, but also makes it hard to move anyone on. :censored::LOL:

I'm going to resist trading Cogs, who has a BE of 167 ( ) but gets Hawks this week. Not a super great midfield matchup or anything, but certainly a good matchup in general and GWS should win, so surely Cogs is good for at least a 100 (hopefully 120+!)

Waiting Will Day suspension news, but probably too hard to grab him anyway. Would be possible next week so that would be ideal.

At this stage I'm looking at Davey (BE -1, so definitely hasn't peaked but hopefully not missing much cash generation) to EVR.
I'm fairly confident I want to move on Baker and Mackenzie next week (yay upgrade season) so would like to grab EVR this week for someone.

If things go amazingly (Cowan 75+, Ginbey not rested) - I'll move Liam Jones to Young - but I highly doubt that scenario eventuates.

Round 6 trades would almost definitely be Dylan Williams in (assuming holds his spot) and an upgrade to someone in defence (Day?) via Constable.

His not the worst if you can have him as ruck cover. Dont expect big scores, must kick goals to push out a 70
I think he's got some upside as a ruck. Question is will he get that role. Had it just been an injury to Nank I'd say yes but in a bizarre sort of way, the loss of Lynch as well means he's more likely to be required as a key forward. Good for JS but bad for scoring. His VFL form last year shows he can score well so not a bad speculative pick to stick on your forward bench and take the odd big score but how often is that going to be and what's a bankable score with most of us playing Sheezel or Chandler at F6? Also requires a donut at F8.

Including this week, will have used 5/8 trades to cover injuries. (Not looking for sympathy, there'll be a fair few in a similar boat.)

Does this seem reasonable? Loathe to deploy a boost / trying to work only with the dead wood this week.

Docherty > Redman
Bytel > Samson Ryan

Will aim to get one of Miller / Jack Sinclair as an actual upgrade next week, assuming disaster doesn't strike,

Having written this, disaster is now guaranteed to strike

Is anyone looking at Pickett to bring in this week… need to get rid of Worpel (via DPP) who is spending too much time on the forward line.

Be interesting what Hawks do this week with Day out.

Last game CBA:
Day 82%
Nash 61%
Worpel 57%
Newcombe 50%
Ward 39%
Mackenzie 7%

Sam Mitchell basically said they had 6 inside mids and some of them had to play out of position (he didn't want to drop any)

With Day out, it basically solves the issue for two weeks. Would expect CBA's to look something like this next week:

Worpel 75%
Newcombe 70%
Nash 65%
Mackenzie 50%
Ward 40%

May see a scoring increase for Worpel/Mackenzie...
