I'm a Green owner as well and will hold. He's given a 107 average for $530k, it's hardly a disaster. Would love to see him turn those 90s and low 100s into 110+ but maybe this isn't the year.

As a reference, Sheezel, Pendles, Jeremy Cameron, Serong, Luke Ryan, Grundy and Daicos are the only players who started cheaper and have averaged more.

Go for the upgrades - I'm bringing in Touk. Laird next week, hopefully Oliver the week after.

Thanks, little sad on Ginbey with one of the highest ceilings of the rookies but he's 300k and has a high BE this week so cash gen is probably peaked for a good 3+ weeks.

Baker looks like he really could get a 70+ but has a 50ish BE and already made 130k.

The smart decision would be getting those two out for a rookie and a premium.

Looks like I'll have to miss out on Ziebell though if I do that though.

Who would you prioritise out of Touk, Laird and Neale?

Next week I'm thinking:

Chandler -> S>Mitchell
McKenna -> W.Day

They are my thoughts as well Chandler has nearly maxed out and mitchell appears a likely cash cow. McKenna to Day is good logic --- my trades

I would do that and that’s basically what I did. For me I’d say fix whilst you still have the opportunity to.
Certainly tempting, would have cash for Dawson over Touk as well. 655k Dawson vs 627k Touk?

Don't love that the above doesn't improve my keepers (14)

I'm personally going for Touk this week (BE of 112) and then Laird next week (BE 137) as I think it probably saves some money.

Neale I'm happier to wait on. One really good score out of 5 so far has me wanting to see some more for the same price as the other two.

Hey all would someone please explain to me why all these random rookies like Roberts, etc are being considered? I know they are cheap but they dont look like they have the best past scores?

The only one is D Williams who looks half decent and even then idk his JS(purely just going off scores)

Been a bit outta the loop as im sure you all have noticed balancing life and sc is tough🤪🤣

Johnson’s first 2 games were as sub. Roberts’ first 3 games were as sub.

Roberts and Johnson both had ****ty scores because they were subs. Both played full games on the weekend. The hope is that they will continue to get picked in the senior so will score like last week's games (or, realistically, may slip back a bit in the case of Roberts), but either way the sub scores are largely irrelevant other than artificially deflating their price rise after their full game.

Early in the week thinking is 2 down, 1 up. Something like:

Out: Baker, Wilmot, Ginbey
In: Roberts, Johnson, Sinclair

Round 6: Anyone else considering 3 down this week? Roberts, Johnson and Williams and create a bank rather than 2 down 1 up or 1 and 1.

Round 7: Apart from Seamus Mitchell none of the other rookies for next week stood out.
I am. Williams, Johnson, Roberts in this week. Allows me to go Mitchell and 2 of Parish/Macrae/Miller/Stewart/Lloyd next week. Unless a Sturt/Wagner type scores decently, Mitchell’s the only good rookie, and even he has shaky JS. People are going to struggle to bring in a premo next week unless they store some cash.
