As much as I wish I could go back a few hours in time and switch my VC from English to The Bont, I will still lock in English's VC score.

Liam Jones on the chopping block for next week for me.

Conceivably could have Clarrie, English, Dawson, Daicos, Bont and Neale priced at $650k+ and averaging 120+ at that time

Makes me even more glad I grabbed him in round 4 now. Couldn’t have chased Bont and Oliver in next 3-4 round period without derailing my team’s future upgrades.

Played: A Brayshaw, M Bontempelli and T English (VC)

Yet to play:
Saturday: J Horne-Francis, J Kelly, J Dunkley, W Ashcroft, D Wilmot, C McKenna, J Lloyd (new recruit) and T Stewart
Sunday: R Laird, J Dawson, R Marshall, M Phillipou, W Phillips, H Sheezel and J Ziebell
Monday: K Chandler, C Oliver and J Hopper
Tuesday: N Daicos

An abysmal 131 from English thus putting an end to his streak of 139 captaincy scores.

Brayshaw once again failing to put four quarters together and a disappointing starter given the alternative was Neale. Will continue to hold given he has lost most of his trade value.

Lloyd currently favoured over Coniglio as the premium inclusion this week as part of a boost involving Gibney, Mackenzie and Baker out for Roberts, Johnson and Lloyd.

Well done to all those who VC'd Bont. I had used him as VC/C 3 times this season with the best return being a 120 odd game, so I thought I'd try a different route this week...

2/239 Bont and Richards  Richards is gone next week!

Also had the E on Wagner and Baker.

Need to decide whether 64 on Wagner will outscore McKenna or Wilmot, or Baker's 59 will outscore Roberts?

2 for 444

I have not got my VC option correct the season, selected English over Marcus Bontempelli.

Have to stay with English as my Captaincy option.

I opted to use a trade boost:
In - S. Mitchell, M. Roberts, T. Miller
Out - Ginbey, Mackenzie, Setterfield

Did a last minute change and swapped M. Johnson for S. Mitchell for a FWD\DEF link, will be interesting to see if I made the right choice.

Didn’t the Dockers (and their supporters) get stuck into Lobb last night! Regular spot fires off the ball! From a neutral perspective, I’m not a fan of fans booing players. I can see both sides. Fans want loyalty from their players. However, supporters need to acknowledge that players will seek to maximise their earnings during their sports career. Point in case this weekend is Goldy choosing to stick with his one club North Melbourne versus Lobb.
