Gulden. Think both are going to be that little bit below what you ideally want in your final team though.
Gulden is currently top 11 fwds and backs (because you can choose where you play JZ and Sheezel) for total points. On average, that drops to 13 (excluding Darcy C) but 1 ppg behind the top 12. He's also the only one under $500K. He'd need to drop off significantly in the second half of the year (which may happen) for it to fail.
Whether trading into him the week after the big score is the right timing would be my question.

Smith it is 😂😂😝

I've been looking at backs too with the above logic. I can only afford Sinclair or doch without a boost. Traded doch out, Sinclair seems like a bloke who could be 80 at HT and still finishes on 99

Right now thinking of going Oliver/Powell and dealing with the mids later when the pecking order shakes out a bit. It actually helps in that sense that a lot of the mids I'm looking at (Mills/Steele/Brayshaw) are on the R12 bye...

With so much DPP there's plenty of room to prop up the mids and loop the rest of my playing rookies across the three lines too.

Who do you see as the “top 6” Fwds (I know there is complexity given avg v totals, etc), but would be keen to hear. I don’t have Tarranto or Cogs, but mindful Gawn could be on the way.

Depends on who does get DPP, but if predicting now I'd say Taranto, Dunkley, Ziebell, Cameron and Gawn (pretty sure he will get DPP), with one spot for a Cogs, Rozee, Butters, Gulden etc. You can shift some across lines too of course which might free up an extra spot. I can't see Gulden averaging much over 100, take out his top and bottom scores which are outliers, and his range is 85-119 this year, at an average of 102. He's probably scoring acceptably really the more I look at the other forwards scores, which I thought were slightly higher, I don't see him as finishing top 6, but is a reasonable chance of a top 10, which is good enough for me.

Walsh and Gawn still firming for DPP as fwds
The issue is will we be able to fit them in.

At this point, the most realistic way is by slingshotting them in during the bye rounds but Walsh has the dreaded round 15 bye so not sure if I can get him. Gawn has the round 14 bye so thinking he is a great target for round 15 with Cogs/Ziebell/Sheezel/Rozee/Taranto all on the bye that week.

Left field options: Finlayson or Wilkie. Both in good form, Finlayson with the role change hitting 100s, Wilkie with a 23 holding his price down despite four 100+ scores and an 89 in the last six weeks.

Weighing up two mids in this week, over a mid and defender premium (Stewart/Ryan as last defender). Aim is still league as well. Have Oliver, Bont, Green.

Anderson - can see him doing well whilst Touk out, which could be 4-8 weeks given type of surgery. Would be happy if he was 110-115 with Touk back if more than 6 weeks away, just not sure if Touk Rowell and Anderson are taking off each other being an elite premium.

Which two:
Parish - good run coming up and decent over finals. Eagles, North, GWS, Pies
Libba - had some good scores this week interlaced with some 100's. Finals Richmond, Hawks, Eagles, Geelong
Anderson - played Adelaide, Swans, Carlton, North

Laird - 2 x 100's, feels like a wait and see. Good finals run.

Brayshaw and Steele need another game or two to prove they are +110.

Walsh, playing forward, tough run coming up, better to see how he goes and if he gets DPP. Marshall may become Gawn next week which partly solves that DPP opportunity.
